Spring 2013 Loose Button Luxe Box

 At long last, the Spring Luxe Box is here! Again, I have seen quite the variety in products given which always used to irritate me in the original monthly format of the Luxe Boxes as I feel that since everyone pays the same price that there shouldn’t be huge price discrepancies between boxes. This season’s was a celebrity-sponsored box by CBC television personalities Steve and Chris. I hadn’t watched their show before so I had no idea what to expect!

Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Foundation

Thoughts: I really despise this type of sample and is not something I would consider a deluxe sample, but nonetheless this is a product that I have been wanting to try. A foundation that claims to last 16 hours? Sure, I’d love to see how it wears on my skin!

Thoughts: Unfortunately, this is too musky for me and smells so overpowering. It’s giving me a headache as we speak…the bottle is just darling though!

This innovative styling spray from KMS California is specially formulated to give you the perfect hairstyle without the annoying wait time.

Thoughts: Oops, I already have one bottle of this from the February Topbox and have yet to try it out! It is a fascinating product though as it apparently speeds up the drying time of your hair by 50%!

Pandora’s Makeup Box Mascara in Black

Thoughts: A CLEAR tube? Genius! I always wonder how much mascara I have left so this is a great idea! I love Pandora makeup and haven’t tried their mascara yet so this was a great product to receive!

Thoughts: You guys know that I am obsessed with these hand lotions so I won’t go into a lot of detail other than to say this moisturizer is quick-absorbing, leaves hands soft forever and is non-greasy.

I have to say that the mascara was the only thing that I really looked forward to trying. Three of the products I already had and it’s too bad the perfume was a no-go for me! If I wasn’t so familiar with most of the products in this Luxe Box, I would have been over the moon! So, based on that, I’d still have to say that this was a nice well-rounded box with something for the hair, face and body.

So, when does the next one come? In the summer sometime?
