Neogen sheet masks have always had a more "serious" vibe leaning more towards the derm side of skincare with the packaging looking a bit more technical and instructions that you actually need to read or else you might be using the mask incorrectly! 

 

What makes this mask special? This mask is for VERY thirsty skin and comes with a Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Capsule Ampoule containing a high concentration of multi-molecular hyaluronic acid that is "snapped" and mixed with the Moisture Aqua Serum Mask which contains three different mushroom extracts, ceramides and white tea extract! So, as you can see there are A LOT of hydrating ingredients in this mask so I almost wish I had saved this for Winter!

The capsule was super easy to snap and made a very satisfying *crack* when broken. Usually this type of additional ampoule is to ensure freshness of ingredients.

The capsule is actually just two tubes with an easily broken plastic connector. I ended up taking out the capsule and shaking out every last bit of product in the ampoule.

Neogen masks are always well-fitted and sometimes have a surprising fit like this one when I saw how far down the neck went! I guess now that I am officially in my 40s, I gotta take care of that area to avoid the dreaded "chicken neck"!

Final verdict: Intensely hydrating mask best used for very dry skin or very dry/cold weather! Using this in the middle of summer was probably not the best move, but good to know that if I ever need an incredibly boost of moisture that this is the mask to do it with!
