I am writing this a little bit ahead of when this will actually go live, but I predict that today I am pretty tired as this week is the start of the holiday season for us at work! We have a client event that runs all week and it can have its busy moments so I am sort of bracing myself to feel tired and not wanting to do anything by the time I get home! 

 

I feel like I got a surge of motivation this past long weekend which initially I thought was just a coffee buzz (I don't normally drink it during the work week), but what started off as one scheduled blog post became five! I won't read too much into it, but I will ride the wave of motivation for as long as I can!

The Sally Hansen x Sesame Street Collection is too cute and I ended up buying five of the shades based on characters and colours. The shades for Elmo, Big Bird and Burt and Ernie were interesting, but they were those "fuzzy" type matte glitters that I have never really liked or used all that often so even though it would have been so cute to have the whole collection, I decided to pass. I had initially planned on wearing this unique metallic, mucous green for Halloween and though I did sneak it in at some point, I sadly never really got a chance to do nail art with it, but nonetheless isn't it so pretty? It almost glows and is maybe a little fancy for Oscar the Grouch, but I am glad Sally Hansen didn't just do a creme forest green for him because that would have been a little boring. I will definitely use this shade again because it is quite pigmented, but you might have to wait until October 2024!
