It's Valentine's Day and we are talking about mugwort which I feel is an plant that has swept the Asian skincare market in recent years with one mask in particular that I keep seeing - the Mugwort Sheet Mask from Korean brand I'm From, a brand focused on "clean and natural ingredients" without any fancy packaging to ensure that the ingredients of their products take priority! While I haven't tried any other products from this brand, it does look like an interesting one and I have it on my list for the future once I get through some of my backlog!

What makes this mask special? This mask contains 91.45% mugwort extract from Gangwha, South Korea and as you can see it is the FIRST ingredient in this mask which is pretty impressive! This extract is obtained using the Slow Release Extraction method for 24 hours and is suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
The mask is also what is referred to as an "I-CELL" mask which is a thin, transparent and highly adhesive material that allows for effective, controlled delivery of the ingredients to the skin.
Ingredients: Artemisia Princeps Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Methlypropanediol, Cordyceps Sinensis Extract, 1,2 Hexanediol, Capryly Glycol, Allantoin, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Panthenol, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Carbomer, Arginine
Mask Summary:
Price: $5 CDN
What it does: Calms and purifies the skin
Scent: Neutral, very faint herbal
Essence Type: Lightly viscous and clear
Duration: 30 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Very close to the skin, few wrinkles and nice big moustache piece!
Tackiness: None, but it did take about 2 hours for the essence to absorb.
Hydration: Really nice! I completely forgot about moisturizer because my skin felt hydrated as is.
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: I would definitely get this mask again because it is very rare to have the featured ingredient be the very first one in the list! I feel like this mask had quality ingredients that I would eventually start to see real benefits from and even though it took a couple of hours for the essence to absorb, it was all very much worth to have skin that felt like mine!
You can find the I'm With Mugwort Sheet Mask at various Korean e-tailers. I got mine through YesStyle!
