Heartbeat Nail Art
Some press samples (marked with *)

I still haven't gotten my groove back. I am still feeling so tired and even though our Inventory went well, I feel like I am still playing catch up on work and life. I did get an hour of quiet time at work when it was quiet to actually enjoy some online Chaumet training which was actually pretty interesting! I love reading about the features and benefits of new products so I often have to tell myself to do this type of reading ONLY at work and not at home!

While I could have done my nails on Sunday night, I just didn't have it in me so hence my ManiMonday is today, but I don't think anyone, but myself is keeping track. I have been wanting to sneak in just one more heart-themed manicure this month and "Heartbeat Nails" has been on my mind for awhile and I am happy with how they turned out! The Essie base shade was a little goopy from age so the application around the cuticles was especially rough (I had to massively fix everything with an eyeliner brush). It was my first time using this limited edition Valentine's Day glitter and I have to say I liked the mix of chunky and fine pink glitter! I drew the heartbeat with a fine brush and then dotted in a red heart. I think it would have been a pretty boring manicure without the glitter in the background so I'm glad I went for it!
