I realize that the last time I did a favourites post, it was for September 2024...this is almost like an anniversary! As my poor nails need to grow back in order to paint them (I sadly did not have any backup posts), I thought doing a cozy little favourites post would be nice to launch the Fall season!
LUSH | Gorilla Perfume in What Would Love Do?*
I received this sooo long ago at a Lush event - like maybe 9 years ago at the height of my beauty blogging career! I had so much of everything that it's only now that I am accepting less/slowing down on writing that I have been able to go through and rediscover things like this scent! This is a blend of lavender and tangerine which sounds very strange, but it is utterly delightful! It is not quite citrusey and a far cry from the vanilla-scented fragrances I normally gravitate towards making it one of my Fall favourites!
VT COSMETICS | Reedle Shot 100

I have been using this for about a year now and I LOVE IT. Though there are higher levels of the Reedle Shot (300 and 700), I like the tingle of the 100 the most. And, the tingle is REAL. It very much feels like tiny pin pricks as the spicules get spread around your skin which is why you are not really supposed to massage this product into the skin.
I use this every other night and initially, I did not think there was much of an effect, but after about 3 months of use, I had people constantly telling me my skin texture looked super nice! The only real change I had made was the inclusion of this product so I think the Reedle Shot is here to stay in my skincare routine!

DIOR PRESTIGE | La Micro-Huile de Rose Activated Serum
I know, I know. This product is super fancy and no one "needs" to have a $600 serum in their routine, but truth be told it does bring me a whole lotta joy when I use it! The scent is of real roses and surprisingly, the featured Rose de Grenville extract is actually in the top half of the ingredients list! There is also shea butter, vitamin C and softening mallow extract. My skin is also left very plump after just one pump of this serum and because I need so little, this bottle has lasted far longer than three months as I only use it at night! I think I am at about 9 months now? If you forego all other skincare, $600 won't feel too extravagant considering we have probably spent close to that by the end of the year on skincare!
HUDA BEAUTY | Blush Filter Liquid Blushes in Cotton Candy and Peach Sorbet
HUDA BEAUTY | Blush Filter Liquid Blushes in Cotton Candy and Peach Sorbet

I have talked about how much I grudgingly like these as I try not to buy into hyped up brands or products anymore, but these blushes blend so beautifully and are so easy to work with! I much prefer powder blushes so liking these as much as I have been has been a welcome surprise! The formula is thin, but super blendable and can be thinned out or built up easily. I can even stack powder blush on top and my makeup still looks seamless. Like many liquid blushes, a little bit of product goes a long way!
VICTORIA BECKHAM BEAUTY | Posh Lipstick in Jump
VICTORIA BECKHAM BEAUTY | Posh Lipstick in Jump

Apologies for the blurry photo - this is what happens when you take photos on your phone and you just blitz through them while editing! I gravitate towards a brown mauve shades and the shade "Jump" seemed pretty perfect for a "nude with a bit of colour". The packaging is weighty and feels luxurious and the lipstick formula is smooth and balmy, but does have great colour payoff.
I will try to do a monthly favourites from now on as opposed to yearly! Are some of my favourites yours as well?
