Noooo! How is it that it's DE-freakin-CEMBER now?! One more month of 2025 that, let's face it, will be gone in a flash! What they say is true - that time moves so slowly as a kid and then it just starts whizzing by as you get older. I think this is partly what has caused me to regain a new sense of purpose with the blogging because in just 5 years, I've already noticed my tastes change (*ahem* no more crazy colour cosmetics) so now is the time to talk about what I love, use, hate etc before I just feel indifferent and cannot be bothered to discuss it!

I actually really like the French-Korean brand Erborian, but it's hard to find locally so when I went to Paris in 2023, there was an actual store front as well as pharmacies who stocked their skincare readily! I picked up a few Erborian sheet masks while in Paris and this BB Shot Mask is the first of the two I finally got a chance to try!
What makes this mask special? This mask gives skin a "baby skin effect" using a blend of mica, dimethicone, ginseng extract, licorice extract and wild yam extract. Skin is supposed to feel super soft and smooth just like a baby's bottom!
Mask material was very soft and tinted slightly pink. There was not a lot of "water" in the essence, so the mask stuck to the walls of the packet and also did not lift off my face as easily as most Korean sheet masks.

Price: I think it was about 5 euros
What it does: Give baby soft skin with a "pearly finish"
Scent: Like cold cream! I instantly flashed back to my first tin on Nivea!
Essence Type: Cream as if someone just threw moisturizer in the packet
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Definitely a smaller fit which worked for my chin area. I had to fold up the nose a bit, but that was it.
Tackiness: None
Hydration: Quite nice and ohhhh my skin was baby soft because of the dimethicone, but I don't care! It felt oh so nice!
Other notes: This would be a good pre-makeup/wedding day sheet mask!
Final verdict: I know the smoothness of my skin was 90% due to the silicones, but it was so enjoyable! I also loved the scent and it brought back a lot of memories to when I first started moisturizing my face at 9 years old with Nivea. If I saw this mask again, I would definitely pick it up as I think it's a great mask to start the day with as well!
