I would just like to say that I have not had the time/energy to generate more than 10 blog posts per month other than a few times last year, but from January to March of this year, I have managed to do it! I can't believe that at my blogging peak, I was doing 20 posts a month! I look back on that now and find that to be utterly insane! Granted these last three months, my work schedule has been ever so slightly easier due to sprinkling some "need to use" vacation days before the end of our fiscal year. No complaints though I will admit that many of those days off have been used to work on things for my day job up until about 2 weeks ago.
A couple of weeks ago, Pacifica Beauty sent over a few new additions to their travel-sized collection and while I normally wouldn't blog about "samples", these are actually a decent size!
Coconut Milk and Essential Oils Underarm Deodorant Wipes
Designed to eliminate odours and excess perspiration, these pre-moistened towelettes are infused with aloe vera, witch hazel, coconut milk, shea butter and scented with naturally-derived fragrance. While I understand the purpose of these, especially if you are stuck traveling for awhile and don't have access to a shower, I have never been able to make them a part of my life UNLESS I use them on my feet. This is because I cannot stand the feeling of my underarms being one temperature and the rest of my body being another. So, when I use wipes like these, my armpits get very cool, creating a temperature differential which then makes me sweat more!
When it comes to these specific deodorant wipes, I'm not a huge fan of the scent as I find it TOO coconut-ey. They do actually seem to stop excess sweating by creating a bit of a barrier that magically wicks away sweat so that when I touched my underarm, it was slightly tacky, but but not sweaty.
Sea Foam Complete Face Wash*
This is a foaming, sulfate-free face wash with a coconut scent that removes makeup, oil and other impurities using a blend of coconut water, sea algae complex, white tea and coconut oil. The foam texture is what I would describe as a "loose foam" where a nickel-sized amount of product creates a very frothy lather that you can sort of move around all over the face and down the chest.
Normally, I brace myself for that squeaky clean skin finish with any foaming cleanser, but this cleanser did not do that at all! It actually left my skin feeling super soft, but the lather made it feel satisfyingly clean. I was actually pleasantly surprised with this one!

Glow Baby Booster Serum*
A vitamin C serum is an absolute must in my AM skincare routine (and it should be in yours!) so while I have my favourites, I am ALWAYS ready to try new ones. The Glow Baby has both vitamin C and glycolic acid in it along with Kakadu Plum which ALSO has vitamin C in it so I don't think my skin has any choice, but to GLOW baby!
This baby 15mL bottle is adorable and since I only use Vitamin C serums in the morning, this will easily last me 2 weeks which is more than enough time for my skin to figure out if this product is a yay or nay in my routine.
This serum can be used either on its own or mixed with your moisturizer and because the texture is more like a gel and not tacky at all, I find using it alone perfectly pleasant. Also, it smells a little like vanilla so I have been thoroughly enjoying using it!
Final verdict: What fun little minis! While I knew the underarm wipes were not going to be my thing, I actually really like the cleanser and vitamin C serum so I guess full sizes of these might be in my future!
