I cannot stand feeling or looking even the least bit shiny when I get ready in the mornings and for the longest time, I thought that I would just have to live with it never thinking that setting powders could have helped me. Now, that I know how useful they are, I am quite particular about the ones I use and the word "silky" is most definitely on my checklist!

MAKEUP | Keeping Things Set with IT Cosmetics

My setting sprays and powders have been going into overtime these last few months and though I have generally used both in my regular makeup routine, never before have I actively layered these products and made SURE that I used them every time I wear makeup to work. A part of me was tempted to just flat out use hairspray to make my makeup stay, but I figured I would spare my lungs and the environment! IT Cosmetics makes my most favourite loose powder, but over the summer I have had the chance to try some other setting products from the brand that have since become daily staples!

MAKEUP | The "Just OK" BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder

I was painting my nails one night two months ago and had left YouTube to play from my now massive subscription list of beauty "gurus" and Tati popped up with a "WTF Review" of the new Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder. Though I don't watch Tati's videos quite as often as I used to, her WTF segments have introduced me to some interesting products and though I wasn't looking for a new setting powder, this one caught my attention because it is made of 50% WATER. Like, what does that even MEAN?!
