Wantable Box | May 2013 Makeup Edition featuring Lara Eurdolian

As many of you have seen, there’s a new beauty box player on the block! Wantable is the latest American beauty box shipping to Canada and promises all full sized products. With Wantable, there are two options: makeup and jewellery. I prefer not have jewellery as I find it to be extremely personal and I tend to have very specific taste. Each Wantable box is $40 or $36 with a monthly subscription. Canadians do pay an extra fee for shipping and duty which ended up being around $9 for me.

What I love most about Wantable is the customization factor. I am now sick of receiving mascaras or neutral-coloured polishes so when I filled out the extremely detailed makeup profile, I explicitly stated NONE OF THAT and I am now guaranteed to never see those products in my Wantable box! I was VERY pleased with my first Wantable box as well as the customer service!

Frownies | Eye GelsDSC_0074

Anti-wrinkle treatment for puffy bags under the eyes contains powerful anti-oxidants that help protect your skin. With one 30 minute anti-aging treatment 100% of women testing Frownies eye gels saw a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. The weight of the anti-wrinkle patch smooths the under eye area and protects the integrity of the acid mantle and skin. Frownies Eye Gels promote beauty and provide antioxidants to fight free radical damage. Natural ingredients help improve the appearance of the skin.

Thoughts: I love face masks, lip masks and eye masks!!! Eye masks are always so expensive especially ones like these so receiving these as a bonus item was amazing! I cannot wait to use them and look super cool like the model! I don’t know if they really work, but I love masks because they just feel so nice on the skin. What I love about these Frownies is that they eye gels are reusable! This one set can be used up to 4 times and according to the website, the eye gels can be rehydrated as many times as needed before the eye gels actually start to dissolve! Cool!

Total Value of May Wantable Box: $94.97

Not bad for a $36 box even with shipping and duty! This is one of the more expensive boxes so there might be months where I will be skipping, but overall I really loved all of the products in this box mainly because I decided what went inside! I am excited to see what lies ahead for Wantable and whether they will survive the Canadian beauty box market!
