I loved the shades in last week's manicure so much that I knew I had to use CND's new Chic Shock collection in today's ManiMonday! CND also has a new Nudes collection and while browsing Instagram for some nailspiration, I came across a manicure by @lacqueredlady using CND polishes oddly enough, but more importantly had a really great take on a flowered dotticure.
I started off with two coats of CND Vinylux Unmasked*. Using each of the four shades from the Chic Shock collection (Jellied*, Taffy*, Candied* and Gummi*), use a dotting tool to make a five petaled flower and then dot the centres with Unmasked.
These flowers needed some leaves to look a little more complete, so I drew on some little green leaves using China Glaze's Gaga for Green with my dotting tool.
Once everything was fairly dry, I sealed it all in with the CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat* and went to bed! I always do my nails at night so a good top coat and some drying drops are my best friends!
