MAKEUP | Mary Kay Fall 2019 Collection with Makeup Look

I can't believe I used to be able to do makeup looks every week AND blog about them while working full-time. I have been run off my feet probably the whole year at this point always playing catch up and while I used to have a bit of energy to blog at night, I haven't been able to do so in months. Though I wear makeup everyday for work and a full face of it at that, I haven't really played with a full makeup look since I was on staycation back in September. I don't think that's going to change a whole lot for the remainder of the year as things just keep getting busier and I am now overcapacity at work so if anything, like many bloggers, it's possible you will see less of me because I will be sleeping!

Last year, Mary Kay reformulated all of their eyeshadows and blushes into smoother, more blendable formulas known as Chromafusion that are sold as singles so that palettes are customizable. This Fall, there are five new Chromafusion eyeshadows packaged into two palettes: Feel Fierce* and  Radiate Confidence*. Each palette has what I call a "surprise shade" like red and blue that make the palette go from basic to whoa!

I found both eyeshadow palettes quite interesting, but in the end went with Feel Fierce because I wanted to see how the duochrome reddish earth shade looked on me. This year's Mary Kay Fall collection also featured two limited edition matte finish lipsticks in "Tenacious Taupe"* and "Spice of Life"*. I wasn't a huge fan of Spice of Life on me, but Tenacious Taupe seemed to work. They are n shades for Fall, but I didn't find them too revolutionary.
