What I love about Instagram is for is that it is a great place to share nail swatches as sometimes writing a whole blog post about a single colour seems a bit overkill. When I initially started in the blogging world, nails were the only thing I talked about and as there was no Instagram, this was my only place to share a pretty polish I happened to be wearing. Sometimes though, it does feel nice to chat a little bit and that's when it is nice to bring back the single colour nail polish swatch posts with the bonus of a life update!
Before I digress into life talk, I purchased and NEVER wore this polish until now and the formula was still so perfect! It's a shame Amanda from Nerd Lacquer disappeared because she was quite talented in her polish-making skills. The glitter was still well-mixed and all I needed was the standard two coats.
Now, moving on from polish I finally got my appointment to book for my second dose of the COVID vaccine at 1am the other night so luckily I was up and booked it right away for the end of this month. I will still be wearing a mask indoors as I am so used to it now that a mask does not phase me, but I still can't quite understand the people who choose not to now that the restrictions have been lifted. At my work, we still have mandatory masking for employees, but we have a few employees who have opted NOT to get vaccinated until "something better comes along". I don't know what that means and what's worse is that these employees are spreading lies about Pfizer and Moderna "changing your DNA". Luckily, no one else believes it so they are just in their own little bubble.
My husband is set to travel next month to see his family and I honestly don't know when I will feel comfortable traveling again. I wasn't a great flier to begin with and I was only flying about once a year just so I "wouldn't forget" how it felt to be in an airplane. Now, I feel like I am going to need drugs to get me through a flight to Montreal.
