SHEET MASK | Blooming Cell Pink Peel 2-Step Mask

I have said before that I adore multi-step masks as I feel like I'm getting more bang for my buck with my sheet mask purchase and as much I prepare my skin beforehand, there is nothing like having everything I need all in one piece of packaging. The multiple steps can range from an eye cream to a cleanser to a peel so I have to make sure I pay attention to what each little section of the packaging says so I don't accidentally "do a step" on my own that isn't part of the package. Today's #SheetMaskSunday is one that I will remember for a long time because it was fantastic!

Purchased via my Facetory subscription

The first step of this mask is an AHA (lactic acid) and BHA(salicylic acid) toner which was a little but tingly, but nothing painful. I enjoy starting my nightly skincare routine with chemical exfoliation as I always feel like serums and all that follow sink in a little bit better. The toner was very watery (see FaceTory's video application here) and did not leave any sort of residue on my skin.

The second step was the actual sheet mask which was soft in texture, loaded with essence and fit very well!

Step 1 Blooming Cell Pink Peel Peeling Toner Water. Glycerin, Lactic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Gluconolactone, Salicylic Acid, Green Tea Extract, Grape Extract, Castanea Crenata Shell Extract, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Coffee Bean Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Biosacharride Gum-4, Glyceryl-25 PCA Isostearate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Hydroxyacetophenone

Step 2 Moisture Skin Barrier Mask Water, Glycerin, Methjylpropanediol, Caprylyl/Capric Triglyceride, Ceramide NP, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Copper Tripeptide-1, Centella Asiatica Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Honey Extract, Salicornia Herbacea Extract, Borago Officinalis Extract, Camellia Flower Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, Allantoin, Panthenol, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucosedistearte, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyacetophenone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Fragrance

Mask Summary:

Price: $5 USD

Skin concerns: Dullness

Scent: Super floral, but it does fade once the mask is on.

Essence Type: The toner was very watery, but did not sting, The actual mask essence was quite viscous and slightly cloudy.

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Medium and felt very plush. Similar in feeling to the Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptide Sheet Mask.

Mask Fit: VERY GOOD. The mask was soaking in essence to the point of being heavy and adhered to the skin very well because of that.

Tackiness: Light

Hydration: No moisturizer really needed.

Other notes: My skin looked brighter right away and I looked glowy! The next morning, my skin looked so bright and even after I washed my face with just cold water (this is what I've been doing my entire life).

Final verdict: I posted a video of my skin after removing this mask and I was glowing to the point that many of you commented on my post-mask glow! It lasted well into the next day and now I am sad that this mask is so hard to find! It is no longer sold on FaceTory and on none of my usual Korean e-tailers so I will keep this on my list and stock up if I ever see it again because this mask was super effective at refreshing my skin yet gentle!

Happy Sunday! I'm getting my second dose of the vaccine today so hopefully I'll feel okay!
