We are now officially caught up with the Ipsy Bags (for anyone who still enjoys these things) and though I know subscription services aren't what they used to be, I like Ipsy because it brings back a sense of nostalgia to when beauty blogging was at its peak in the 2010s. It's when Michelle Phan first started Ipsy and was a true icon of an era of consuming beauty content in a completely novel way. I don't really like her content now, but she will always have a special place in my heart.

September's Ipsy Bag theme was "More is More" which I don't really envision for the Fall, but I guess it's hard coming up with something interesting every single month!

The bag itself was quite cute with a little heart charm with gems and a brightly colour-blocked design. The quality of the bags is also fairly good which is why I think the $25-$30 CDN I pay each month is not too insane for what I receive and the joy I experience especially now that I don't receive as much PR.
E.L.F SKIN | Bronzing Drops in Copper Gold

E.L.F is known for creating some amazing dupes at a much lower price and I am guessing these bronzing drops are a dupe for Drunk Elephant's which totally does not bother me as DE's reputation over the years has kind of gone downhill. I've never really liked them (and I've received PR in the past from them and TRIED to like them as a brand) and I think it was because they were so hyped up and yet if people said their products weren't working for them, DE would go on the attack.

Anyway, these bronzing drops are intended to be mixed with moisturizer or body cream to add depth, glow and luminosity to the skin without the sun damage. It says to add 1-3 drops, but this product doesn't really "drop out". It's a cream that gets squeezed out so I kind of eyeball approximately what I think is needed, but what's nice is that the product blends smoothly and does actually give me a bronzed, tan glow! I received a FULL SIZE of this product valued at $17 CDN.
REALHER | Long Wear Foundation in Med
I love foundation! After enjoying the collagen spray I received in my July Ipsy Bag from RealHer, I was looking forward to testing this out! This was the perfect shade for me and blends like a dream with a brush. The formula is lightweight and I felt like my skin tone looked much brighter and even. The website looks a little strange for RealHer as it seems like everything is sold out...the pricing also seems a bit off as it shows this 15mL size as being $57 USD, but the little card that came with the Ipsy bag shows the full 35mL size as being $39 USD. Their Instagram account, with over 51K followers, has not been updated since May of this year and interaction has generally been low on all of their posts so not sure how legitimate the followers are. Let's go with the more conservative cost quoted by Ipsy and say that I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $16.71 USD.
KORRES | Black Pine Bounce Firming Moisturizer

Now, Korres is a brand I know! I actually used to use their skincare quite a bit as it was readily available at Shoppers Drug Mart, but once it wasn't, it just wasn't in my life anymore, but I have always liked their skincare so I look forward to using this moisturizer. I have used the Black Pine collection before, like YEARS ago, so I am not sure if this a new product, packaging or formulation. Black pine extract is packed with antioxidants that help to lift, plump and firm skin. This moisturizer is on the richer side so a dime-size is all you need! I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $29 USD.
LES BEAUTY | Matte Face Primer

In the last two years, I have become a bit obsessed with face primers so when I created my Ipsy profile, I specifically asked for face primers (yes, you can do that!) and always get excited when I see one in my bag! I also prefer them in mini form so I can try a lot of them at once and because they seem more appealing to use in mini form! Now, I've never heard of this brand, Les Beauty, but I like the texture and the way my skin feels afterwards. This mattifying primer contains glycerin and panthenol to hydrate while still making the skin feel breathable. It does apply velvety, but it gives your skin just the tiniest feeling of grip while also blurring. I used the RealHer foundation on top and there was no pilling whatsoever so I am hoping it plays nice with my other foundations as well! I received the FULL SIZE of this product valued at $20 USD.
TYS BEAUTY | 03 Concealer Brush

I just disabled my desire for brushes on my Ipsy profile as I've realized what I really like are face brushes which never really seem to come in my bag. I don't really use a brush with concealer as I tend to be lazy and just use my beauty sponge so I think this brush will most likely go to someone else, but it does look like a good brush! This is a paw-shaped concealer brush with super soft vegan bristles that is gentle on the delicate eye area. I received a FULL SIZE of this product valued at $22 USD.
Thoughts: This Ipsy Original Bag had a value of $139.69 CDN (OMG the exchange rate is so bad) which of course is more than the $28.16 CDN I paid in total and I liked everything I received except for the brush. All in all, a really nice Glam Bag with things I have never tried!
