Purchased by me
This October Ipsy Original Bag was a bit of an accident as I was actually going into my Ipsy account (on Oct.31st) to reactivate the "MONTHLY" option so that I wouldn't miss out on the December Bag and in doing so, I ended getting the October bag as well! Now, that I have slowed down the beauty spending, I don't mind having some smaller samples of different products around to try. Obviously the October theme was centred around Halloween and Magic though the theme and the products I received seemed somewhat disconnected. I also received an "accommodation package" for some reason and when it arrived, it contained ANOTHER single foundation? October was just kind of confusing month for the Ipsy Original Bag, but let's get on with it!
MEMOIRE ARCHIVES | Candy Shop Fragrance
This is a gourmand scent with the delicious scent of sugared peaches, watermelon gummies, and decadent vanilla meant to evoke memories of being a candy store as a child. At initial spray, I did not really like the scent as it reminded more of a fruity body mist, but once it dries down the warmth of the vanilla starts to come through which I love! I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $6.00 USD.
ELEMIS | Pro-Collagen Neck and Decollete Balm
I have heard a lot about Elemis and though I have only used one or two products, I think I am getting to the age where their products are starting to appeal to me like this neck and decollete balm! This moisturizer promises to reduce the look of crepy skin and increase firmness and tightness in the skin of this delicate area using Dermachlorella (provides firmness and elasticity), LiftessenceTM (a natural skin tightening material) and Sea Buckthorn Oil. I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $5.00 USD.
AILOVI | Soft Matte Foundation

I am sad that this Ailovi foundation was really too dark for me because when I swatched it on the back of my hand, I really liked the finish! It is a more matte foundation that applied well with fingers and then it just didn't budge after a few seconds! I was super impressed with just how flawless it looked and how locked in it became after it set on my skin! One thing that was strange was when I went to the brand's website, it said that their products were soon to be available in the US so I'm not sure where to purchase this product at the moment. I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $3.00 USD.
FEMMUE | Ideal Intense Eye Cream

I have had the opportunity to try Femmue products before via Ipsy, but this eye cream as thick and luxurious in texture as it is, is not my jam. I am not a big fan of thick eye creams as I am super prone to milia and very scared of using anything more than a serum texture. Sadly, I will be using up the remainder of this on my body. I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $2.00 USD.
CINTA LONDON | Living the Eye Life

I remember choosing this as my one product and now I'm kind of wishing I hadn't not because this Cinta London palette isn't beautiful, but because I have SO MANY eyeshadow palettes that are not being used at all. I think I chose this because of that gorgeous green in the bottom right corner that I wanted to line my lower lash line with. I have yet to do it, but maybe I will give it a try on a day where I don't have clients since I feel like it's more of an adventurous look. I received a FULL size of this product valued at $32.50 USD.
Final verdict: The total value of this Ipsy Original Bag is $48.50 USD or $68.09 CDN so not as high of a value as previous bags and because the foundation is a complete wrong match this is probably the worst value bag I have had since restarting my Ipsy subscription.
