SHEET MASK | Mad Beauty Looney Tunes Sheet Masks (Tweety and Bugs Bunny)

These Mad Beauty Looney Tunes sheet masks have been seriously nostalgic for me as my sister and I grew up watching these cartoons on Saturday mornings and after school. We knew all the little stories and we both even had Tweety and Tasmanian Devil slippers for YEARS! 

What makes this mask special? In addition to being printed with Tweety, this mask contains niacinamide and honey extract to brighten, condition and hydrate. Honey is known to be healing, anti-inflammatory and hydrating as it is a humectant. This ingredient is found closer to the bottom of the ingredient list though so I don't know how effective it is.

I am not sure if I really looked like Tweety, but when I showed by husband, he knew it was Tweety right away so maybe I'm just being overly critical!

Mask Summary:

Price: $6.99 CDN 

What it does: Hydrate, condition and protect

Scent: Artificial honey

Essence Type: Clear and lightly viscous

Duration: 25 minutes

Thickness: Medium, but good for a printed mask 

Mask Fit: Good for a printed mask, but very large for my face as most Mad Beauty masks have been.

Tackiness: Light

Hydration: A little dry around the eye area, which was where essence was lacking. I did feel like I needed to apply moisturizer despite feeling light tackiness.

Other notes: Not a lot of essence in package and barely enough to soak the mask.

What makes this mask special? In addition to having Bugs Bunny printed on it, this mask contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and strawberry extract which is known for its antioxidants. This ingredient is almost at the bottom of the list with "fragrance" even being in a higher concentration so like the Tweety mask, I'm not sure how useful the strawberry extract will be. 

This mask was again quite large and you can even see how far down the nose piece goes past my own actual nose.

Price: $6.99 CDN

What it does: Conditions the skin which is kind of like what the Tweety mask did as well, but it is just a matter of semantics!

Scent: Strawberry

Essence Type: Lightly viscous and clear, but it was hard to tell as there wasn't very much essence left.

Duration: 25 minutes, but I should have probably taken this off around the 15-20 minute mark.

Thickness: Medium, but good for a printed mask.

Mask Fit: Very large as per usual so I needed to fold things up and pull back the mask into my hair.

Tackiness: Very light

Hydration: I also needed to add moisturizer and eye cream.

Other notes: Again, barely enough essence to soak the mask and there were some definite bald spots.

Final verdict: These masks are all about entertainment with skincare being a side bonus and I don't regret picking them up even though the fit wasn't that great. The designs were very pigmented and the scents were fun! Mad Beauty does so many character masks that I am always curious to see what they actually look like so this won't be the last time you see Mad Beauty here on the blog!
