I have not done one of these in awhile and because I missed Friday, it means I get to do Six on Saturday! What I like about these posts are that it jogs my memory about what the last two weeks have been like as well as teaches me to be appreciative of what has happened in my life because a lot of the time, life moves way too fast!

ONE: Whenever a client says they are thankful for the service I have provided them with, it always makes me smile, but when they add in a little something special like flowers, it's really extra special. These were hand-delivered to the store and I had no idea who would have sent me flowers because it's not like it happens every day and then of course, the pessimist in me thinks it's a stalker! Thankfully, that was not the case and I got to enjoy these beautiful orchids in my office for the next week as my cats would have eaten them had I brought them home!

TWO: I had been wanting to mark a work achievement for the last two months as I think it's the hardest I had ever worked for something at my job for as long as I can remember including almost all of my days off for most of March. It did pay off and I wanted to spoil myself with a new pair of Dior shoes! These are one of the many new styles for spring and is my first pair of pointed flats from Dior that I am thoroughly enjoying!

THREE: A few weeks ago, I attended the annual Vancouver Timepiece Show with my husband and a friend and though there weren't as many brands this year, we still got to see one of my favourite brands - Isotope and one of their unique pieces which was a watch with straw dial marquetry! Each piece of straw is coloured and cut individually with this Year of the Snake piece being something like $8000 USD! Beautiful, but definitely out of my budget!

FOUR: I got to enjoy all of 15 minutes of a Dior Masterclass with these beautiful afternoon tea delights! This rose was made with red bean paste by a bakery called 123Dough Organic Cafe here in Vancouver which I thought was adorable! I would have stayed longer, but I was on my lunch break and then I received a text that my client was in the store so had to rush back. It was a busy day and I wouldn't have enjoyed myself too much anyway as there was just a lot going on.
FIVE: I was able to fully attend the next Dior workshop which was a flower bouquet workshop! I made the bouquet above and it came in the cutest little clear "purse" which I ended up gifting to a client for Mother's Day. I think I did a beautiful job, don't you think?
I hope all of you are having a wonderful long weekend!
