Hermes Iris Violetta with Rainbow Honey Cutie Pie Nails
Purchased by me

It has been over a month since I last painted my nails as I waited patiently for them to grow back...and then break again. My index nail still isn't back to what it was before and I am eating really well and feeling good so who knows what is happening. Sometimes nails are just what they are no matter how much biotin or good food you ingest.

I have been on vacation the last few days and honestly haven't had the desire to paint my nails much. I've been really focused on getting outside and going on long walks and taking naps. I know, I know. It sounds so boring, but I feel like my body has needed it. I napped for like 2 hours yesterday after I did my 5km walk and then was in bed before midnight so I've obviously been tired.

I am so proud of myself for getting nail polish on my nails though and decided to do my photos on my walk yesterday featuring Hermes Iris Violetta #44 which is a creamy dark lilac from last year's Spring/Summer collection. I love Hermes polishes and all the shades I have purchased have applied beautifully including this one. This shade, you will need two coats for full opacity or if you are more heavy-handed with your first coat, that's probably all you will need!

I layered it with one coat of Rainbow Honey's Cutie Pie which is a pink glitter that should have had some pink and white heart glitter in it, but it was really hard to load onto the brush and as I was painting my nails at 11:30pm on Saturday night, I was just too lazy to go glitter fishing.

Have a Happy Long Weekend for those you have one and even those who don't enjoy your Stat when you hopefully get it later this week!
