NAILS | Cadillacquer Daffodils Swatch #MidWeekMani

It's almost midnight as I write this and the family downstairs has decided that it is the perfect time to plug in their electric guitar and do a family sing-a-long...I don't know why no one complains and I feel like a jerk if we do since it will be pretty evident it's us since it's a small apartment complex. Luckily, I cranked up the volume on my ASMR spa videos so all I could hear were the sounds of a gua sha!

Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to do some real nail art this week, BUT I do have this insanely gorgeous nail polish from Cadillacquer's Fall/Halloween collection! I am back to feeling the constant need to catch up both at work and here at beauty central. I stayed back at work about 30 minutes just to catch up on emails and forced myself to leave when my eyes felt super blurry. I've realized that there is only so much "valuable" work you can do when you are tired. Mistakes get made and it takes longer to do things so I try to keep it very basic the few times I do stay late.

NAILS | Holo Mermaid #CBBxManiMonday

We are more than halfway through the Holo Taco Rainbow Collection and I have been WAITING for this green! I love greens, blues and purples so the last couple of shades will be shades I look forward to trying, but the green is pretty amazing too! This is Green Taffy and in the bottle, I was expecting something like Nubar Reclaim and it is verrrrry similar. I think Green Taffy is a touch brighter and maybe a bit more multidimensional on the holo, but these two polishes are very much in the same family for me. While I obviously HAD to take photo of Green Taffy in its holo glory, I still needed some nail art for our "Summer Lingo" #CBBxManiMonday theme and what goes well with green? Mermaids of course!

NAILS | Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was super tired Friday night until I realized that I didn't want to miss out on having green nails for St.Patrick's Day! I don't even really drink and I had to work today so it's not like anyone other than my co-workers would have seen my nails in person, but YOU Internet would have seen them so that was a good enough reason to get my nails dolled up for the day!
