SIX coats of polish. That’s how many coats I have on in today’s Sinful Saturdays post because I jumped the gun and thought Sinful Colors – All About You was much more opaque than it was. I am actually wearing 3 coats of All About You, 2 coats of Revlon Gel Envy – Blackjack and two coats of All About You! It just goes to show you that maybe looking up a swatch or testing it out on a nail wheel would have been better than going in blind. All About You is a very autumn-like glitter with its copper and gold-coloured glitter all sitting in a clear base. To jazz this manicure up, I donned some relatively badass Ciate Cuticle Tattoos that I picked up from Sephora. They were a little challenging to position, but actually look kind of cool!

Vegan Cuts | July 2014 Beauty Box “Salute the Sun”
It feels a little silly to be writing theme of a beauty box involving the sun, but since I was pretty much comatose last weekend with a fever, take yourselves back to the beginning of July when summer was just getting started. I was working like crazy at a new job at the time that consumed every bit of energy I had so now that I’ve found something new I’m sure you have all noticed that I have been blogging quite a bit more over the last 2 months. Hopefully you all enjoy seeing more of me because I missed the interaction with all of you!
The Body Shop | Wild Argan Oil Bath and Body Collection
Don’t you get excited whenever The Body Shop releases a new scent? I definitely have my absolute favourites (Satsumaaaaa!) and I am about to add another scent to the list. Argan oil has been a hot commodity the last couple of years in the form of hair or body oil, but now The Body Shop has released an extensive bath and body range in their brand new scent Wild Argan Oil. Oh, and it smells just as good as you’d think. It’s warm, rich and brings forth visions of places MUCH more exotic than my office. The idea behind launching such a large bath and body collection was to allow all women to create their own ritual of body care in their own homes just like Moroccan women who indulge in weekly cleansing rituals at their local hammam spa.
Swatch It Up | *The Giver Collection * China Glaze–Boundary of Memory
It’s October and there are a lot of beauty themes and occasions to be talked about: breast cancer awareness, dental hygiene, Fall beauty and of course, Halloween! Although this polish isn’t really a Halloween polish, it sure looks like one to me with its assortment of matte black and bronze and silver glitter. What polish am I talking about? I’m talking about China Glaze – Boundary of Memory from the limited edition Giver collection. I have not read The Giver (I know, it’s crazy, but it’s on the Goodreads list!) but even the name of this polish has me intrigued and ever so slightly confused at the same time. I am wearing two coats without top coat in all pictures shown below and had some slight issues with viscosity as I found my brand new bottle to be a little on the thick side. Due to this issue, I had a really hard time getting super close to my cuticle line making it look like I have severe nail grow out.
Revlon | Fall Makeup Look with Shadowlinks Eyeshadows in Onyx, Khaki, Chocolate and Oyster and Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion (With Swatches)
This SHOULD have been up about a week ago, but silly me had to contract strep throat along with an unrelenting fever in the worst way possible delaying all of this lovely Fall beauty goodness. Many of you are familiar with the Revlon Shadowlinks Eyeshadows (review) and there are some new shades for this Fall season that are sure to delight your inner forest nymph.
Swatch It Up | OPI–DS Tourmaline
Early last month, I had mentioned that there were two new additions to the OPI DS family: DS Titanium (swatch) and DS Tourmaline. I have obviously kept you all in suspense with my review of DS Tourmaline (sorry, but if you’ve seen my IG I have been VERY sick and am still fighting whatever hell this bug came from), but here she is! I have on 3 coats, just like when I swatched Titanium, and again there is a lotta sparkle and a lot of depth going on with DS Tourmaline! To put it crudely, this is a pink polish with tons of iridescent glitter. Most of the time, the glitter looks either purple or orange against the pink. The finish is meant to be a little gritty like rocks, but I just use top coat to smooth it out.
