Those of you who are lovers of the The Shopping Channel and their beauty section may have seen the makeup line Eve Pearl, created by Eve Pearl, a 5 time Emmy Award winning celebrity Makeup Professional. Eve Pearl products were originally created for professionals, but fortunately, normal Jaynes like myself are now able to have access to the whole line!
I was recently given the opportunity to review the High Definition Creme Foundation and Smudgeproof Liquid Eyeliner, which I was interested to try as I had never tried any Eve Pearl products before. I will be doing two separate reviews – one for each product beginning with a review of the eyeliner!
This long lasting liner has a uniquely tapered brush for a precise smudge proof application. The highly pigmented formula offers all day wear with rich, luminous results.

Formula: When I swatched this eyeliner on my arm, I saw a little bit of bleeding and thought, “Oh…well how is this going to work on my eyes and last ALL DAY?” Nevertheless, I still gave it a go and I’m glad I did because the formula was beautifully black and created a precision line worthy of any perfectionist! The felt tip is firm, not flexible like the Lancome Artliner, and thin so you can create the thinnest line. I tend to just want to outline my eyes, so tips that are slightly thicker like the Eyeko liner are too much for what I typically want. The black is VERY BLACK not watery and kind of grayish like some liquid liners I have used and is wonderfully opaque. Don’t let the swatch on my arm fool you! I almost was!
In terms of wear, I could only remove this eyeliner with makeup remover. I used my thumb to repeatedly wipe hard against my skin and the lines did not move or disappear. There was some very light flaking, but considering how hard I was rubbing that wasn’t surprising. I was probably pulling off bits of epidermis at that point. I haven’t had any issues with smudging during my 9-10 hour work days which has made me very happy 
.

Final Verdict: This eyeliner is on the pricier side, but if you love being able to create thin, precise lines then this is the product for you. A good liquid liner is hard to find and to this day, I really only use two consistently and now I’m going to add Eve Pearl’s Smudgeproof Liquid Eyeliner to my roster. For the price, I would have expected nothing less!
