One year of Glossybox has arrived and this is truly a box worthy of a one year anniversary. I still remember being on the email list and finding out that FINALLY, Glossybox was coming to Canada! There have been some ups and downs this past year with Glossybox, but I still consider myself loyal and will continue our beauty box romance for the time being.
Givenchy Gloss Interdit No.3 Coral Frenzy
A high-performance lipgloss with light, smooth texture that brings shine and definition to your pout.
Thoughts: I wasn’t sure if I was even going to receive this because Glossybox had mentioned that a certain number of Glossydots were needed to acquire this little gem, but it looks like everyone received this lipgloss. I have never tried anything from Givenchy so I’m pretty psyched to have this. This is a gorgeous coral colour with a hint of shimmer that I cannot wait to wear!

Essence Quattro Eyeshadow in Vamp It Up

Thoughts: After having seen some swatches of this quad, I am not too impressed with it. There seems to be quite a bit of fallout and lack of pigmentation. I have swatched some other Essence palettes and they have been of better quality so I will just treat this quad like a bit of a dud.

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips-Ultra

Thoughts: I JUST bought a box of these! I’m still pretty happy to have another full size box of these though. I love using them and seeing those nasty little blackheads come out!

Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment

Thoughts: I’ve seen this brand in numerous gift sets at London Drugs, but wasn’t sure about the brand or products. The products are fairly inexpensive, but the packaging is very cute and smells quite good.

DeleteI didn't receive the Givenchy gloss :( Also I think that quad was the worst of the ones that were sent this round... I got a different one and while the colours weren't that pigmented, they were still not bad.

I loved this box too! 😍the gloss is great. I am in total love with the Macadamia Healing Nut Oil. My hair feels fantastic - fuzzball no more! :D I was the of the same opinion about the Essence quad - to chalky etc but their individual shadows are pretty good. I hope next month is just as great!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! So that oil really works! I still have to try it out, but I'm excited to see how it works on me. I have prety "calm" hair though so I might not notice as much of a difference. I'm glad it worked for you though! It's always so exciting to find a product that works so well!

ReplyDeleteYou had me at "Macadamia" LOL I'm obsessed with trying that product but it is so hard to find and when I did a year ago on a trip it was sooooo expensive I had to pass : / Lucky girl you! I have some Eucerin products and adore them, they're also highly priced but they work so...
