SeasonsBox is my latest subscription obsession, founded by Agnes Kozera, and is relatively new to the beauty box subscription scene. The first SeasonsBox debuted in December 2012 and is what I would consider more of a lifestyle box as not all the products are beauty-related. I am starting to want to pull away from the typical beauty box subscription which is what led me to wanting to try something new. So, what is a SeasonsBox?
A subscription service that strives to introduce you to environmentally conscious products that meet our highest quality standards and that will stimulate your senses. Each month we carefully compile 3-5 luxurious full size seasonal must-have products for your home, body, and spirit that tailor to one season (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn), or Seasonal Holidays and Occasions.
This is not a “sample” box in the slightest as everything is full size which means that SeasonsBox is one of the more expensive subs. Subscription pricing is as follows:
Available as a one time purchase or as a subscriptions. Subscriptions are offered on a month-to-month recurring basis and on a 3 month, 6 month, or yearly pre-paid subscription basis!
Subscription Pricing Below (prices include shipping)
- Bill monthly for $34.90
- 3 months for $99.70 (save $5) + 5% Store Discount
- 6 months for $174.50 (save $34.90 that's 1 FREE Box!) + 10% Store Discount
- 12 months for $349 (save $69.80 that's 2 FREE Boxes!) + 15% Store Discount
- One time purchase or Gift it for $39.95
I signed up right at the end of February for 3 months by way of Lesley of Petite Pear Style and what I love about this subscription is that you can preview the SeasonsBox so even though I could have started my subscription in March, I really loved what was in February’s box as the theme was all about taking the time to LOVE yourself first. It was sent a little late (I barely noticed!) so I got an little extra treat thrown in which was very thoughtful.
Kaia Naturals Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths
Don’t just wash your face, soak it in juicy vitamins. Kaia Naturals Bamboo Cleansing Cloths contain ingredients that your skin will truly love. They are filled with vitamins, organic honey, sunflower and citrus oils. Each cloth acts as three products in one: cleanser, toner and makeup remover.
Thoughts: When I first received these in a Glymm box in January of last year, they singlehandedly changed how I felt about cleansing cloths. Ever since trying these, I always have cleansing cloths on hand. These Kaia ones were always one of my favourites though, but are a little bit on the pricey side which is what held me back from buying them.
Price: $17.00 USD
Bambu Earth Sugar Cookie Body Glow
Loving yourself starts with taking care of yourself, which is why Bambu Earth Sugar Cookie Body Glow is an absolute must-have. More than just a sweet pampering treat, it helps to improve the health of your skin naturally. Each body glow is handcrafted from scratch using natural ingredients such as mineral rich dead sea salt and coconut oil. Use it in the shower two to three times per week to help your skin regain and retain a healthy radiant glow.
Thoughts: This smells like marzipan and I cannot wait to use this! Talk about treating myself! It’s a more coarse scrub, so definitely not something I would use on sensitive body parts or daily.
Price: $17.00 USD
Roses are synonymous with love. They are also regarded for their beauty, elegance, and skin enhancing benefits. This is why we had to include the Dream Organics Rose Water as a February must-have. Each rose water is crafted from the distillation of premium organic Bulgarian rose petals, infused with a rare organic rose essential oil.
Thoughts: Lately, I’ve really been enjoying facial mists in all sorts of scents either for setting my makeup or just a quick pick-me-up during the day. Rose Water smells only very faintly of roses and is delectably feminine to the nose. It also comes in a frosted glass bottle which further adds to the luxuriousness of the this product. There is also a lavender scent available in the SeasonsBox store.
Price: $19.00
Galerie Au Chocolat Fair Trade Bar
Love has got to be the secret ingredient in the Galerie Au Chocolat Fair Trade Bars. Founded in Montreal in 1985 by a Canadian chocolatier, the company has now evolved into one of North America’s best sources for gourmet chocolates.
Thoughts: I just discovered these chocolates on my own at a local organic food store and they come in a number of different flavours. The flavour I received is espresso, but I have also tried Earl Grey Tea and Maple Crunch.
Price: $5.00 USD
Perfumessence Organic “Breathe” Shower Bath Bomb
Soothe an irritated throat and relieve winter congestion with this organic eucalyptus mint bath bomb with lavender and a kiss of rosemary.
Thoughts: This was my bonus product and smells so refreshingly minty. I haven’t been sick with a cold in a few years, but that won’t stop me from enjoying this bath bomb!
Price: $4.95 USD
Total Value of February SeasonsBox: $62.95
I pay about $33.23/box so I certainly got more than what I paid! I feel like there was so much thought put into this box from the eco-friendly packaging to the products themselves. On the product card, I actually trust the reasons for why each product is a SeasonsBox favourite. You are also able to purchase the products through the SeasonsBox store online with free shipping at $50. Agnes answered a lot of my questions right away and shipping was very prompt. Overall, I felt my first SeasonsBox experience was wonderful and I am certainly hanging around for more!
If you would like to sign up for SeasonsBox, you can either use my referral link (for which I say many thank yous!) or the normal way. Enjoy!
Amazing box! Maybe in the future, as I am doing Ipsy and Julep currently.
ReplyDeleteI really should be getting rid of one of my other subs as I've got Ipsy, Julep, Topbox, BB5, Glossybox and Luxe Box!
DeleteOh and Glymm!
DeleteNearly everything Seasonsbox features is right up my alley, though a bit out of budget for me to subscribe! I would love to eventually though!
ReplyDeleteIt is one of the more expensive ones, so I definitely need to re-evaluate the subs I have and see what can go...
DeleteWow, everything looks amazing! :)

I didn't think I would like this type of box, but I think after getting so much skincare and makeup, I wanted something different.
DeleteI really enjoyed the whole box!
ReplyDeleteLove the packaging of everything you got! Enjoy it all Jayne <3 xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Hun!
DeleteI was watching Ellesy's youtube vid on the latest seasons box she received and both of you have really made me interested in this subscription! The products always seem so awesome and worthy of what you pay :D
ReplyDeleteThey ship to the US so you should definitely try it out for a month especially since you can preview the month!
DeleteThis was my first box too and I really enjoyed it! Those makeup removing wipes are really nice, not greasy in the slightest and are probably my favourite product of the batch. I'm n ot sure what I think of the scrub yet though. Sometimes I find it stinks and sometimes I find it smells OK lol. I think that when I leave it open for a little bit, it smells less intense and I like it more.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the scrub. It's a VERY strong scent so it can be overwhelming depending on how you're feeling!
Deletethanks for linking me!! i'm glad you're enjoying this sub... it's my favourite. i absolutely loved the february box. :)
ReplyDeleteYou deserve good karma for convincing me to get this beautiful box!
