March 2013 SeasonsBox–“Spring Into St.Patty’s”

After a fantastic February Seasonsbox, I was on the edge of my seat for the March box especially when I saw that there was an umbrella inside! In rainy Vancouver, I can always use a good umbrella! The theme for March was all about St. Patrick’s Day so of course everything was green! Even Yoshi wanted in on the action!

Ecoverse Compact Umbrella from ShedRainDSC_0045

There’s nothing quite as soothing as the sound and sight of warm spring showers replenishing the earth. Who wants to get wet? Stay dry and humble this season with this fabulous eco-conscious umbrella. Each Ecoverse umbrella is crafted from recycled materials and has a natural bamboo handle.

Thoughts: This was my favourite item as my current umbrella from Forever 21 recently broke and this one from Ecoverse is sturdy and ethically sourced. I used it for the first time today and I was very happy :)

Price: $32.00

Organic Gourmet Tea from Octavia in Emerald SpringDSC_0046

The Irish drink more tea per capita than almost everyone in the world. In celebration of this Irish tea-drinking tradition, we just had to include one of the world’s best gourmet teas.

Thoughts: Mmmm…I love green tea and I really look forward to snuggling up to this brew!

Price: $13.00

Natural Incense Cones from Vance Kitira in Oriental LimeDSC_0047

Vance Kitira products reconnect us with nature while transcending cultures and geographies. Not only are their incense cones natural, they are also exceptionally beautiful.

Thoughts: I have always wanted to try incense CONES! I have the traditional incense sticks in constant supply, but the cones have always fascinated me. These smell SO good and I will light one while I drink my green tea!

Price: I didn’t feel like creating an account to find out the official price from the Vance Kitira website. If someone has the info, I will gladly update!

Dublin Mint Irish Soap from All Things HerbalDSC_0048

We couldn’t resist including a soap that so truly captures the freshness of spring in Ireland. With all the leafy, minty Irish freshness, this soap will stir your emotions and immediately transport you to Ireland.

Thoughts: Other than orange, mint is one of my all-time FAVOURITE scents. This is a combination of spearmint and peppermint with rosemary and wakes me up even with a single sniff!

Price: $5.50/bar

Total Value of March Seasonsbox: $50.50 (without incense cones)

The umbrella alone almost paid for this box and it was something I needed! I'll admit that if I didn’t need an umbrella, I may have felt a little disappointed, but it just goes to show you that whether a box is “good” is purely perspective. I loved the green theme and look forward to more items that nourish both body and soul! I have seen sneak peeks of April and I am DYING to get it in my hands!

If you would like to sign up for SeasonsBox, you can either use my referral link (for which I say many thank yous!) or the normal way. Enjoy!

    1. Yup! That's the Yoshi! He's been a bit of a jerk lately...waking us up at 6am with "give me attention" meows...grrr!

I cannot WAIT to use that soap! I'm using a L'Occitane one now, but this mint one is sitting in my bathroom next in line!
