SeasonsBox | August “Get in Touch with Nature”

This is my FINAL SeasonsBox. I was told I wouldn’t receive this one, but it turns out that I had already paid for it so in the confusion, here it is! Thankfully this was a fairly good box and I can say goodbye to Seasonsbox (for now…) with a happy heart. I know, I’m so dramatic, but it takes a lot for me to end a relationship with a subscription box!

SeasonsBox | July 2013 “Get In Touch With Nature”

I write this SeasonsBox review with a bit of a heavy subscription heart as Seasonsbox will no longer be shipping to Canadians despite its Canadian origins. Founder, Agnes Kozera, decided to go to law school a few months ago resulting in the switch to America-centric operations. Ever since the switch, I have had a field day with shipping times and receiving multiple boxes of one month and missing some all together. The wait time for inquiries has grown from 48 hours to close to 1.5 weeks for me! Not that I’m complaining, but I received TWO July boxes, the other of which I gave away. I just hope that I didn’t deprive someone else of a box…at any rate, yet another Canadian subscription bites the dust…now that I’ve thoroughly depressed you all, let’s see what I received for July’s Seasonsbox shall we?

Edit: Sept.3/13 Seasonsbox has announced on their Facebook page that they WILL be shipping to Canadians once again. Shipping fees will vary and because their site is down have yet to be released.

Seasonsbox | June Summer Edition

My last Seasonsbox was an April Box. Followed by a second April Box and then in May…ANOTHER April Box. I never received May’s Box because there was simply no stock left! I was a little disappointed because I had been looking forward to May’s Box, but with the shipping and ownership changes happening with Seasonsbox in the last couple of months, I can understand the mix-up. Thankfully, I did get June’s Box at the end of July, but it honestly looked like it was thrown together in a hurry! There was no product card and no outlined theme like there normally is, but it’s very clearly tropical and summery so let’s go with that!

April 2013 SeasonsBox|Sweet and Lovely

It has been TWO weeks since I have posted about any beauty boxes, meanwhile I have a stack of unopened ones sitting on my coffee table thanks to the craziness of last week! It’s almost like Christmas again since I don’t actually remember what is in each box! Total first world problem right? April’s SeasonsBox is about getting excited for Spring and indulging the senses in all things sweet. What I love about April’s box is the focus on the natural and helping out women in need.

March 2013 SeasonsBox–“Spring Into St.Patty’s”

After a fantastic February Seasonsbox, I was on the edge of my seat for the March box especially when I saw that there was an umbrella inside! In rainy Vancouver, I can always use a good umbrella! The theme for March was all about St. Patrick’s Day so of course everything was green! Even Yoshi wanted in on the action!

SeasonsBox is my latest subscription obsession, founded by Agnes Kozera, and is relatively new to the beauty box subscription scene. I signed up right at the end of February for 3 months by way of Lesley of Petite Pear Style and what I love about this subscription is that you can preview the SeasonsBox so even though I could have started my subscription in March, I really loved what was in February’s box as the theme was all about taking the time to LOVE yourself first. It was sent a little late (I barely noticed!) so I got an little extra treat thrown in which was very thoughtful.
