BATH & BODY | c.Booth Skincare by Freeman Beauty Labs – A Whole New Way to Look at Body Care!

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be sharing an all new bath and body line that I have been using this month! Even before I started blogging, I had a weakness for body lotions and scrubs and as of June, Walmart Canada has just started carrying what I see as a skincare style approach to bath and body care. As part of the well-known Freeman Beauty Labs (I love their masks!), c.Booth is an incredibly comprehensive, body line influenced by botanically-based ingredients such as sea salt, oatmeal, walnut shells and sunflower and sesame oils. All c.Booth products are of course free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and petrolatum. You can see how large the bottles are with the body lotion at almost 1L! Oh, and the other awesome thing? Not a single product featured here is more than $10!

The All Over Body Sea Salt Scrub* (8 oz/$6.99 CDN) is scented just like my visit to the Hammam with the scent of eucalyptus to calm and clear your head and large grains of salt to buff away dead skin. This is one of my favourite types of body scrubs as I feel like it’s REALLY doing something in terms of speeding up cell turnover. With the roughness of the exfoliant, it’s probably best to use this every other day, but I love it so much that I use it every day! This is also wonderful as a hand scrub prior to an at home manicure to give hands a fresh start.

The Walnut Shell Body Scrub & Cleanser* (16 oz/$5.99 CDN) is a more gentle version of the Sea Salt Scrub and smells like a Fall dessert. The walnut shells are pretty gentle and can be used daily everywhere that needs buffing! I found that the light cream consistency made me use a lot more of the product than originally expected. I needed one pump for each leg, arm and torso so thank God for this giant bottle!

The Original Bath & Body Oil* (16 oz/$9.99 CDN) has sunflower oil, sesame, olive and evening primrose oil that work to hydrate, soften and even work to repair tissue damage. As a moisturizer, I had to wait a few minutes before it was fully absorbed, but it was still relatively light in texture. As a bath oil, it smelled pleasantly sweet and kind of went crazy with how much I was adding to the tub! If you love body oils to hydrate your skin, this is an incredibly economic option that leaves skin soft and sweetly scented.

The Triple Action Rosemary Mint Bath, Shower & Hair Wash* (16 oz/$5.99 CDN) is a 3 in 1 multipurpose product that my husband has been loving! The rosemary mint and peppermint is incredibly invigorating and when I inhale, I mentally feel cleaner! It lathers up fairly nicely as a shower gel, but I haven’t tried it as a shampoo as I am terrified that it will strip my blonde!

The Blackberry In-Bath Body Conditioner* (6 oz/$8.99 CDN) is meant to be a timesaver which lets you moisturize in the shower and come out perfectly hydrated. There are a few products like this on the market, but this is the first time I have tried a product like this. This was one of my favourite scents and really feels just like a creamy moisturizer when applying in the shower. I did find that my drier areas like my legs needed a second round of moisturizer, but areas like my arms and torso were nicely hydrated.

My FAVOURITE product in this assortment had to be the 4 in 1 Multi-Action Lemon Sugar Body Lotion* (32oz/$9.99 CDN) with its easy to use pump and whopping size! Yes, this smells amazing, hydrated and left my skin feeling wonderful, but what was unique about it was the presence of caffeine and AHAs! Malic acid is usually found in face skincare products or peels so I was absolutely delighted to see it in a moisturizer! This means that exfoliation is happening even after the shower! I LOVE IT!

The c.Booth line has a host of other lotions, oils and body washes all in equally mouth-watering scents that all of you HAVE to check out! For such an affordable price point, I found the ingredients to be quite good and there is something for everyone to love. What would your favourite product be?
