While I do enjoy the Sol de Janiero Bum Bum Cream collection and the Cheirosa 62 scent, my husband does not. He finds it quite intense (I mean, he's not wrong) and starts to sneeze in the office so I only use my Bum Bum Cream products if he's on a work trip. During the last Sephora VIB Event in November, I decided to try the Bom Dia Bright collection and its Cheirosa 40 scent in the hopes that it would be more tame for my husband.

Leave it up to Deciem to come up with some strange packaging to house a strange product! I was on my lunch break one day at the Deciem store (it's next door to my work) and saw one of Deciem's many brands that I had not seen before - Loopha! Loopha focuses on fragrance by "activating atmospheres by scenting areas of daily life and filling them with function".

I am late to the Naturium body care party, but after enjoying the skincare (down to the last drop for certain products), I wanted to give the body products a try mainly because I like the idea of an AHA in my bodycare. There are SO MANY products within the body care collection now that since I have taken so long to review these products, I will probably need another two posts to cover the rest!

BODY | Pixi Beauty Glycolic Body Wash, Peel and Lotion

I have always been a rather enthusiastic exfoliator and routinely go through body scrubs every 1-2 months. I have often wondered why there weren't any chemical exfoliating options for the body when there are so many for the face. I don't think it was until the last year or so that I started seeing more body-focused lotions and peels and when Pixi Beauty came out with this trio of glycolic body goodies this past summer, I couldn't help but shout "Hallelujah!" because THIS is exactly what I have been wanting in my shower routine!

BODY | Avon Skin So Soft Comforting Shea Collection

It's the last weekend in June and we can officially say hello to summer! My birthday is next weekend on Canada Day so even though I look forward to turning 35 I am also terrified. Moreso than when I turned 30. I think it's because now every ache and pain, I can't just dismiss. I am officially entering a zone where aches and pains in odd places and times DO matter! Wish me luck guys as I navigate this time in my life where I have to officially check a different age range box.

Though I have outgrown certain things in life, one thing that has remained constant is my love for the scent vanilla. As a kid I loved sniffing the extract before baking and when I discovered that The Body Shop had a Vanilla perfume it was my go-to. I wouldn't even wear it. I would just sniff it like aromatherapy! Earlier this year, Avon released the Skin So Soft Comforting Shea Collection which features vanilla wrapped up in sandalwood and musk and it smells just positively DIVINE.

BATH & BODY | Giving Some ATTITUDE with the New Super Leaves Collection

Montreal-based brand ATTITUDE, first caught my eye when I was in the household cleaning aisle of London Drugs trying to find something to clean my bathroom that didn't give me a headache. The bathroom cleaners I was using had such noxious scents that I often felt like every breath I took killed off a few neurons or two. I noticed a citrus-scented bathroom cleaner by ATTITUDE and I was sold. To this day, my bathroom is cleaned with only non-neuron killing products so even though cleaning products excite me (because I'm old), I was like "yeahhhhh!" when I saw the new Super Leaves Collection at my local London Drugs.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be sharing an all new bath and body line that I have been using this month! Even before I started blogging, I had a weakness for body lotions and scrubs and as of June, Walmart Canada has just started carrying what I see as a skincare style approach to bath and body care. As part of the well-known Freeman Beauty Labs (I love their masks!), c.Booth is an incredibly comprehensive, body line influenced by botanically-based ingredients such as sea salt, oatmeal, walnut shells and sunflower and sesame oils. All c.Booth products are of course free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and petrolatum. You can see how large the bottles are with the body lotion at almost 1L! Oh, and the other awesome thing?
