I think for the next 10 weeks expect to see only bright manicures from me! It doesn't seem right to wear vampy shades while the sun is shining and the temperature is above 20 degrees. I was browsing Pinterest, as I often do for nailspiration, and came across this pin and loved the colour combination of orange with the neon green studs. I guess I liked the pineapple too, but I didn't feel like more fruit this week...
Not much to say with this manicure as I think most of us are familiar with polka dots, but for my base I used one of my most favourite orange polishes Zoya Arizona which I picked up almost SEVEN years ago when I started doing nail art! The formula was still great and was opaque in two coats. I added white dots with a dotting tool using Essence Wild White Ways* and then quickly added neon green nail studs from Born Pretty with a wax pencil while the polish was still "pliable". This allows me to embed the stud into the polish which helps it to stay locked in place for a week!
Once the white polka dots are dry, apply a healthy dose of top coat and you are DONE!
How are you celebrating your first summer weekend? I will be working on the Saturday, but will be free Sunday so I am looking forward to that!
