SHEET MASK | Toy Story Trio of Masks from Japan!

Toy Story Sheet Mask Review

Purchased by a friend

I have really great clients and the ones I have gotten to know really well over the years are well aware of my love of skincare and sheet masks. One of my clients had gone to Japan and brought me back a couple of Japanese skincare must-haves as well as these Toy Story sheet masks! She had mentioned that she bought them because the packaging was super cute and we hoped that the actual masks would be too!

What makes these masks special? Well, I was HOPING that the masks were going to have the characters printed on them, but as you scroll you will see that sadly that is not the case. However, there are some great ingredients in featured like mugwort, chamomile, aloe vera and cica extract and everyone's favourite, hyaluronic acid!

I had to run the back of each mask through Google Translate as everything is in Japanese, but all the ingredients were the same and honestly, the essence was quite hydrating and overall very pleasant!

My only complaint would be that the mask felt like it had a lot of folds I could never smooth out, but other than that, they were fun to use.

Mask Summary:

Price: As I cannot find these online, I am guessing based on average sheet mask pricing that these probably run for $4-$5 each?

Skin concerns: Hydration, soothing (based on the ingredients I see)

Scent: Fresh laundry, cotton

Essence Type: Clear, jelly essence

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Medium

Mask Fit: Not bad. The sides were a bit long on my face and I found that there were a lot of folds. Nothing came apart though.

Tackiness: Light, but skin had a nice pliable and soft finish.

Hydration: Good!!

Other notes: I just want to stress how much I wish these had been printed!

Final verdict: While these masks were perfectly fine, the pretty packaging should have provided more of an experience other than just a basic plain mask. The fit of the mask was also not the best for my face. If the masks had been printed, I would have loved them, but because they aren't the skintertainment factor goes way down for me.

I'm sure you can only get these sheet masks in Japan, but I hope you enjoyed the review anyway!
