I remember when I first saw these The Creme Shop x Sanrio sheet masks launch a few years ago and I bought every single one from The Creme Shop website because at the time they were limited edition. Fast forward to now when the Sanrio line is part of the normal collection and I needn't have rushed to purchase them like a crazy person. I am glad the masks are here to stay as they are among the cuter printed masks on the market! Keroppi is one of my favourite Sanrio characters and he "lives on the edge of Donut Pond, the largest and bluest pond around". When I was a teenager, Keroppi and Bad Badtz Maru were like my spirit animals so it feels nice to still have them around in some form as an almost 40 year old woman!
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Dipropylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Corydalis Ochotensis Extract, Chenopodium Album Flower Extract, Lactuca Indica Extract, Draba Nemorosa Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Fragrance(Parfum)
Mask Summary:
Price: $4 USD
Skin concerns: Brightening and hydration
Scent: Sweet floral
Essence Type: Clear, jelly
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Medium, but with a lot of stretch and mask material was very soft.
Mask Fit: A bit thin on the moustache and the sides went into my hair a bit. I also found that there were too many slits on the sides which I guess allows for a larger face.
Tackiness: Zero
Hydration: I needed moisturizer as I didn't find the sheet mask essence hydrating enough on its own
Other notes: Eye slits would have been nice so that the mask sat flush to my skin in this area.
Final verdict: I didn't see a massive difference in my skin upon removal, but it was quite hydrated and looked refreshed. These masks are always fun and the fact that the print and the colour of the mask represented Keroppi's home was pretty cute. Anyone would enjoy these Sanrio masks just for packaging and the novelty so I would highly recommend them!
