This is the LAST mask of my The Creme Shop x Sanrio haul from a lifetime ago and oddly enough the expiration date for these masks that I purchased way back in October 2018 was this year so I think that's why I kept putting off reviewing them. I just thought I had all of this time! Truthfully, there are so many more cool sheet masks that I would like to still review that have probably long been discontinued, but the crazy person in me feels that I owe to my love of sheet masks to give them a post!
What makes this mask special? In addition to being a printed mask, this cookie-scented mask (the character My Melody loves to bake cookies) has soothing snail extract, moisturizing coconut oil and cocoa extract which is rich in antioxidants. I have used a few skincare products with chocolate in them and though I'm not sure they do a whole lot when applied topically, I sure do love how chocolate feels when ingested!
Mask Summary:
Price: $4 USD
Skin concerns: Moisturizing and softening
Scent: Cookies - artificial scent, but one I was ok with! It reminded me a lot of toys from my childhood.
Essence Type: Clear, jelly
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Medium, but with a lot of stretch and mask material was very soft.
Mask Fit: A bit thin on the moustache and the sides went into my hair a bit. I also found that there were too many slits on the sides which I guess allows for a larger face.
Tackiness: Zero
Hydration: I needed moisturizer as it has been VERY dry in Vancouver and I have generally had to up the moisture levels in my skincare routine!
Other notes: Eye slits would have been nice so that the mask sat flush to my skin in this area.
