It has been a loooong time since I have featured this Quebec-based brand on the blog and I am so happy to do so again as the brand has come a LONG way since I first talked about Maison Jacynthe back in 2016/2017. At the time, Maison Jacynthe was one of the few luxury brands, especially Canadian brands, in the "green/clean" space. I think we have all reworked in our minds what green/clean means to us and now I love brands that use a blend of plants and science to create products with results! Maison Jacynthe has an amazing array of makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness products that are also vegan with no fillers and no artificial fragrance.

NAILS | OMG! Toy Story Came Out 20 Years Ago! #CBBxManiMonday

This week's CBB ManiMonday theme is "Childhood" and I had been wanting to try these Toy Story nails for the last month so it worked out perfectly! These nails started a day of watching old Pixar movies which was pure bliss followed by a well-deserved nap because I have been feeling the beginnings of a summer cold...I only hope that I can nip it in the bud ASAP!

NAILS | *NEW* Going 10 Free with Maison Jacynthe Nail Polish in Napoli

Hello, One Coater! That's right, the newest innovation from Canadian green beauty company Maison Jacynthe is nail polish! We all know and love their makeup and skincare so I was seriously asking "Is it here yet?" every week leading up to the launch! The shades released are all solid creme colours and though I was only sent three of the 12 shades, all three were one coaters! What you see in the photos below is a glorious one coat of the shade Napoli*

MAKEUP LOOK | "Office Chic" with Maison Jacynthe

I'm as office chic as I can be with my mermaid hair in today's Maison Jacynthe look! I work in a pretty conservative environment and deal with vendors who are pretty serious so in the last two months I have received comments of praise and wonderment that I have been "allowed" to get away with this. Honestly, you only live once and if you actually style "fun" coloured hair and not let it look grubby, you can wear a suit and look perfectly presentable. Obviously I don't wear blue or green lips to match as the hair is enough, but it has been interesting to see how people react!
