Ipsy | February 2014 “The Look of Love”

I won’t even apologize. Just expect these beauty box posts to be a little late! There have just been too many awesome products to share with you all over the last couple of weeks! February’s Ipsy was pretty cool so I won’t keep you all in suspense!

Ipsy | December 2013 “Celebration”

Ok, don’t make fun of me. Just think of my beauty bag posts as “nostalgic” at this point because let’s face it, most of us probably don’t even remember what we got two months ago in our beauty subscription bags! I even have one from October as it took 2 months to get to me thanks to customs flagging a mini polish as hazardous material. Now let’s get back into the holiday spirit shall we?

Ipsy | July Edition “Beach Beauty”

I very much enjoyed the July edition of Ipsy as it was quite a bit better than June’s in my opinion. The products were much more to my liking and came in a fun pink cosmetics case that definitely appealed to the teenage girl in me!

sexyhair | Soy Renewal Beach SprayDSC_0120

Creates beachy undone texture that looks and feels like you’ve spent a day at the beach. Contains argan oil which helps nourish, protect and heal hair damage.

Thoughts: I have received an almost overwhelming number of textured/beach sprays from sample services this summer season so  I can’t say I was thrilled to see another bottle of it, but with argan oil, I’m curious to see if this as moisturizing as it claims to be as other beach sprays I have used have felt somewhat drying on my hair.

Full size: 170mL/$18.50

I received: 50mL/$5.44

April 2013 Glossybox | Olympian Edition

I vowed that I would NOT let this post wait until June! I’m so sorry for being late! As mentioned in the title, this is a Glossybox curated or rather endorsed by former Olympian Tracy Little. I couldn’t find her name associated with a medal though, so I don’t know if the Glossybox card is entirely accurate. And interestingly enough, Tracy Little has now retired and is now a Marketing and Communications Manager for a pole dancing company! Sorry, moving on April’s Glossybox!

With the Oscars being in February, this month’s Ipsy Bag was all about being red carpet ready with smoky eyes and makeup that will last even through the Oscars!
