I very much enjoyed the July edition of Ipsy as it was quite a bit better than June’s in my opinion. The products were much more to my liking and came in a fun pink cosmetics case that definitely appealed to the teenage girl in me!
sexyhair | Soy Renewal Beach Spray
Creates beachy undone texture that looks and feels like you’ve spent a day at the beach. Contains argan oil which helps nourish, protect and heal hair damage.
Thoughts: I have received an almost overwhelming number of textured/beach sprays from sample services this summer season so I can’t say I was thrilled to see another bottle of it, but with argan oil, I’m curious to see if this as moisturizing as it claims to be as other beach sprays I have used have felt somewhat drying on my hair.

Coola | Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer
Keep the sun and environment at bay with this SPF 20 broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen. This tinted, light rose scented, titanium dioxide based formula (for those who are Zinc sensitive) is made with 98% natural ingredients. Ingredients like organic acai oil, vitamins B1/2/3, vitamins C, and vitamin E delivers a powerful defense against aging. Also contains skin calming and elasticity promoting ingredients such as linseed oil, organic sunflower seed extract, organic cucumber extract and phyto-protector plankton extract.
This sunscreen is hypoallergenic, paraben-free, ultra sheer, anti-aging, and water resistant for 40 minutes.
Thoughts: I was really excited to see this product because I love Coola, but rarely come across this line very easily without going online. I can’t wait to use this the next time I have a day off in the sun!

BH Cosmetics | California Collection
This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.
Thoughts: The colour payoff is not bad and the colours are quite wearable. This is a cute little sampler that gives us a taste of each of the three palettes from the California Collection. I have a few BH Cosmetics palettes and I have been pleased with the quality

This bracelet was my bonus for Ipsy referrals. It’s adjustable which is nice for someone with a small wrist like myself.
Total Value of July Ipsy Bag: ~$48.33
I’m not too certain of the value since there were a few things that I was not able to price, but overall I was quite pleased with what I received especially the nail polish, sunscreen and the lip crayon. I just received my August Ipsy a few days ago so I will have that for you soon!
