This is my FINAL SeasonsBox. I was told I wouldn’t receive this one, but it turns out that I had already paid for it so in the confusion, here it is! Thankfully this was a fairly good box and I can say goodbye to Seasonsbox (for now…) with a happy heart. I know, I’m so dramatic, but it takes a lot for me to end a relationship with a subscription box!
Vapur | Anti Bottle Water Bottle
The Anti-Bottle is a reusable water bottle designed to stand when full and can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty, making it easy to carry on any adventure. Unlike bulky and rigid bottles, the portable Anti-Bottle can be easily tucked away.
Thoughts: I’ve secretly always wanted these foldable water bottles so receiving two in my favourite colour was pretty awesome. These can also be frozen and put in the dish washer. They aren’t very big (0.4L each) so you will definitely need to refill these a few times during the day.
I received: 2 bottles/$11.99
Eat Green Tea | Organic Green Tea Leaves
We tested samples from organic tea farms around the world to bring you whole tea leaves that are highest in antioxidants and lowest in toxins. We are proud to present to you the purest green tea leaves available anywhere. There is 100 times more EGCG (a powerful antioxidant) in EatGreenTea leaves than there is in brewed green tea. So don’t throw away the powerful nutrients in green tea – EAT THE WHOLE LEAF! But beware that not all teas are created equal.
Thoughts: I think it’s great that I can brew a cup of tea and then add the leaves to a meal! I am SO curious about how this will taste in my meals, from sweet to savoury. I actually think it’ll taste quite good! I enjoy eating well but eating green tea leaves is definitely different for me as I am probably one of the few Vancouverites that isn’t obsessed with eating green and shopping exclusively at Whole Foods (See amusing video about being a Vancouverite)
I received: 100g/$25.00
Tiki Bar Soap | Green Tea Solid Lotion Bar
This super soft and moisturizing lotion bar is made with green tea butter and spearmint essential oil. It smells very minty, and does a wonderful job of moisturizing extremely dry skin, especially hands, feet, elbows, knees, or anywhere that typically gets “ashy”. To moisturize feet overnight, apply product and then put on socks to sleep. Comes packaged in a 1 oz push up tube for easy dispensing.
Thoughts: Mmmm, this smells so refreshing and minty! Definitely my kind of scent and having this moisturizer in stick form is perfect for my dry heels and knees.
I received: 1oz/$8.00
Puur Body Tonic | Lavender – Martini Body Oil
Excellent for deep moisturizing but doesn't leave a greasy feel. Just mist some onto thirsty skin, rub it as needed. Use in place of body lotions or butters for a smooth appearance.
Thoughts: Mmmm…this also smells really good! More lavender than martini for sure and leaves my skin feeling nicely hydrated. The scent is very light and eventually fades which made me a bit sad as I was enjoying it!
I received: 4 oz/$8.45
Total Value of August Seasonsbox: $53.44
I was most pleased with the water bottles, green tea and lotion stick as my fiance is already eyeing one of the water bottles! I’ll keep an eye out on any Seasonsbox unboxings to see if it will be worth signing up again, but for now I will enjoy the products I have received from Seasonsbox over the last 7 months.
