I didn’t think I would be attempting Olympic-themed nails, but Olympic fever got the best of me and I decided to try. I have to admit that I had no idea what to do really because I’m not very good at “art”. I’m good with lines, but I wasn’t about to attempt the mascots or drawing my favourite sporting events! I kept it simple and gave the Canadian flag a heart instead of a maple leaf which I find brutally hard to draw even with pen and paper with of course a coat of Julep’s Oh Canada! on top!
I’ve been watching swimming because CTV plays it constantly, but I love gymnastics and weight-lifting too. At one point, I was streaming four different events! What has everyone else been watching?

Deleteah haha! I definitely did the mascots on my nails. I was thinking of doing olympic throwback nail art, and paint the beijing mascots just because they were so cute. London mascot are weird metal alien thingy.

ReplyDeleteI think right now it's all about Phelps and swimming so it's always on by the time I get home from work too. There has been a lot of controversy with the swimming and the Chinese though huh?
