February 2013 Bombshell Maven Box with Extras

February marks my one year anniversary with Julep which I never thought I would have because I thought I’d just get my 1 cent Maven Box and cancel. It turns out that being able to skip a month has been the winning factor for me as I love the freedom of seeing what I might be getting and having some control over where my money goes. February’s Bombshell Box was one of my favourites as I could not wait to try out the new Freedom Polymer Top Coat and Oxygen Nail Treatment!

Freedom Polymer Top Coat“Extend the life of your manicure in minutes with Julep’s Freedom Polymer Top Coat. Activated by natural light, this innovative formula creates a unique polymer force field that prevents chipping for days longer than regular top coat, leaving your nails with a gel-like shine (but without gel-removal hassle). Any nail polish remover does the job—you’ll never pay for painful gel removal or soak your hands in nail-weakening acetone again.”

Oxygen Nail Treatment“Complete nail care and make-up all in one bottle. Made with a patented Hexanal formulation, nails are restructured to a stronger, thicker, and smoother condition in just one stroke. Advanced plant stem cell complex provides anti-aging benefits, while ground-breaking oxygen technology forms a non-occlusive film on the nail, proving resistant to water penetration and improving the permeability to oxygen. Results are nails that are structurally stronger, and less prone to breakage and splitting. How to use: Apply in layers on clean nails to achieve desired high gloss and subtle “Nail Makeup.” Use once or twice a week regularly to promote strong, healthy nail growth.”

Julep Nail Polish in Laura-“Olive khaki crème”

Julep Nail Polish in Ginger-“Sand holographic”

Eyelash Curler-Ummm, I’m still not quite sure how to use this…I’m such a novice…

Hand and Cuticle Stick-“Moisturize and protect in one easy no-mess step. Restore the youthful appearance of your hands with a peptide punch to strengthen and repair your skin. Vitamins C and E nourish and soothe.” I should add that this smells just like CLEAN – Shower Fresh!

Julep Nail Polish in Jane-Full-coverage rose gold multi-dimensional glitter. I HAD to get this because it’s a polish with name! Granted, it’s not the same spelling, but “Jayne” will never be a polish name so I’ll take it without the “Y”!

Swatch Me Stickers-I think these are such a cute idea! I’m always looking into my Helmer and having to pick up polishes individually to see what colour they are.

I skipped the March Maven Box so it’ll be a little while before I see another Maven box. I still haven’t worn my polishes from the November Maven Box! I’d better get on it!

  1. Jane for Jayne hehe :) I took a little time to figure out the eyelash curler too. There's a tab on the back that when you pull it out, it acts as the lever for the curler. Hope this helps :)

I just had to get that polish even though I already have a pink glitter that's very similar!
