At the end of August, Topbox alerted subscribers to a special Chatelaine Edition Topbox upon signing up for a Chatelaine magazine subscription. After receiving a copy of Chatelaine in the September Topbox, I decided to sign up for a yearly subscription as the magazine was surprisingly interesting (aka “I’m getting old”) and was at promotional pricing ($14.95/12 issues).

Thoughts: I have the full size of this and have received a sample of this as well and I really enjoy the whole ultra plush gloss line. I won’t be keeping this sample for myself as I certainly don’t need another one! These glosses feel so smooth and silky on the lips and are the perfect companion to the famous Benefit boxed blushes!

Lightweight eye cream that diminishes the appearance of eye puffs, darkness and fine lines. Non-creep, cream/gel formula actually helps hold eye makeup in place.
Thoughts: I wasn’t quite ready to commit to the full size so this couldn’t have come at a more opportune time!

Lise Watier | Teint Age Control Supreme
Lise Watier created a new line of foundation with our exclusive concentrated Labrador Tea extract, a powerful antioxidant, at the heart of its active ingredients.
Thoughts: I actually have used this moisturizer before and if you’re looking for an anti-aging, highly moisturizing night cream, this is a great one to use if you have dry skin like mine.

Wella Professionals | Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray
Thoughts: I have received quite a number of Wella products during my 2 year love affair with beauty boxes and incredibly enough, this is my first thermal spray. I don’t use a lot of hair products, but because I straighten my hair almost every day, thermal spray is probably the only product I will actively seek out and consistently run out of. Can’t wait to try this one!

Not a bad complimentary box at all! The contents is very similar to what we normally receive in a typical Topbox so I think I would have been pretty happy if this were my first Topbox EVER. I have been enjoying Chatelaine as well bookmarking recipes to try (ACK now I feel really old admitting that!)
