Once again, the Loose Button Luxe Box has creeped up on me! I always forget about it because of its quarterly delivery, but the products inside are always so luxe that I get so excited when I know it’s coming! I didn’t think I’d enjoy the quarterly subscription, but I think the Luxe Box works MUCH better this way and the product selection is much more consistent than when I first signed up 2 years ago. For the Fall Luxe Box, I opted for the Shu Uemura upgrade for an extra $7 as I was just too curious about the Cleansing Oil Shampoo! The rest of the box was pretty good too so read on to find out more about it!
Shu Uemura | Cleansing Oil Shampoo
Delicate formula that transforms quickly into a rich foam that effectively draws out the impurities and build-up on the scalp without stripping the natural oils. Leaves hair naturally radiant, soft and in balanced state – volumized and moisturized. Paraben and silicone free.
Thoughts: I haven’t tried this product yet, but I find that whenever there is an opportunity to try a Shu Uemura product I snap it right up because I find the brand elusive and mysterious…they have fewer points of sale than other brands, are rarely featured in beauty boxes and rarely have GWPs.

Simple Pleasures | Hand Cream in Wild Berry
Pamper your hard-working hands with this enriching formula, by Simple Pleasures.
Thoughts: This product looks attractive enough, smells nice, but in terms of ingredients isn’t that impressive…the actual company that makes this is called Tricoastal Designs and is behind a number of different products. This hand cream has nothing particularly special in it like shea butter or specific natural oils. There is just mineral oil…not saying it’s bad, but I’d much rather use something else.

the Balm | Instain Powder Blush in Swiss Dot
TheBalm’s long-wearing, staining powder blush is a fashion must have! Perfect for all seasons and skin tones, it will give your cheeks color that won’t quit.
Thoughts: This is my first time trying the newest blush from theBalm and what a gorgeous colour it is! The sample packaging is darling as all theBalm packaging always is and I’ll see how this blush stands up to a long work day!

L’Occitane | Amande Supple Skin Oil

Thoughts: Talk about a luxurious skin treatment that leaves your skin feeling and smelling so incredibly nice! If you love the Amande line from L’Occitane, you will enjoy this skin oil for sure!

China Glaze | Nail Lacquer in “Charmed I’m Sure”
Dive into the Autumn Nights Collection with China Glaze. This formula not only includes nail hardeners, but is super opaque allowing for minimal coats. *All China Glaze colours are free of DBP, Toluene and added Formaldehyde.
Thoughts: LOL, I can’t believe I don’t have this colour! That’s all I’m happy about! This is a gorgeous colour for the season!

Michael Kors | Sporty Citrus, Sexy Amber and GLAM Jasmine
Sporty Citrus: A dazzling burst of citrus with luscious orange flower and a hint of warm woods. Casually chic and fresh.

Thoughts: In terms of sample perfumes, this is the prettiest packaging I’ve seen and I love that we get a chance to sample all three of the latest fragrances in the collection.

Thoughts: To be honest, I still have yet to try this mascara even though this is my fourth one! I haven’t heard anything amazing about it which might be why I’m not exactly keen on trying it out.

Loose Button | Eye Shadow Brush
The supremely soft and short bristles are the perfect shape and feel for blending your eye shadow.
Thoughts: I don’t normally like the Loose Button products that are included, but this eye shadow brush is actually quite soft and pleasant to use! Eye shadow blends beautifully with it!
Total Value of Fall 2013 Luxe Box: $58.66
My favourite products in this Luxe Box would have to be the Shu Uemura shampoo, the nail polish and the perfume set actually! My one year subscription with Luxe Box is up next month, but I think I’ll keep it since I’ve really enjoyed every box this year. The products are all high end and usually things I haven’t tried yet.
