Ah, the infamous Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb ($6.95 CDN). Even the name of this bath bomb sounds commanding and ominous and although I passed on it last year, this year I was determined to find out what the fuss was all about. When I read what the inspiration was behind this bath bomb, I was even more intrigued as it is inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Fest of Fools. INTENSE. The scent is heady with a spicy blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. Not my typical fruity, fun-loving scent, but still absolutely intoxicating.
It ain’t easy being green which is why there is a layer of purple and silver underneath! I love surprises like that!
I was only able to capture the green portion of the show, but there was indeed a bit of a fizz show.
The multilayer aspect to this bath bomb is what was most interesting to me. The scent being so heavy makes me only want to use it in the Fall/Winter season as patchouli would not be very appealing to me in the summer unless I were on some sort of vision quest. This is the kind of bath bomb for a warm and cozy night in FOR SURE and with the bathwater being green, it still captures some classic Lush fun in the tub.
Do you guys switch up your bath scents depending on the season like with perfumes?
