BATH | Lush Easter Collection

I think Easter has to be my second favourite time of the year (after Christmas) when it comes to bath bomb goodies from Lush! It is specifically "eggs" that I enjoy as every year there seems to be a more and more creative way of incorporating them into "tub life". Don't get me wrong, I love bunnies too, but I always feel like eggs hold the cutest surprises hehe!

BATH | Lush Valentine's Day Collection 2021

It's what we've been waiting for! Well, I don't know about you, but I always look forward to what Lush has in store for their Valentine's Day collection and this year is just as sweet as every other year. I am a little sad that I didn't get one of the new releases (the Blow Me a Kiss Bubble Blower) as it was sold out when I went to my local Lush store to pick one up, but if you do happen to get one, it looks like a lot of fun!

BATH | Lush Easter Collection

I will preface this by saying that it feels strange to be celebratory of anything lately and while I would normally start this post by saying "OMG it's the Lush Easter collection", I do want to acknowledge that whether you still wish to support this brand is up to you based on the recent lay-off that has happened with Lush and many other companies. I am part of the group of people that have been now temporarily laid off and though I hope I will have my job back in a few weeks, I know that it's hard for companies to make guarantees on ANYTHING right now. Promising to take care of people for 2 weeks is very different than 4 weeks and beyond and we are all going to be hurting financially for awhile before things go back to normal or if they even do. I can't say that I'm not scared and full of doubt over the coming weeks and there is only so much self-care I can do until the fear of uncertainty creeps back into my brain. The way I look at my self-care experience now, whether I am masking or using a bath bomb, is that I am trying to fill my day with as many positive thoughts and memories as I can in the hopes that I can look back on this time with a sense of growth and optimism. Now, let's look at some really cute Easter stuff and may each bath bomb be a blast of good energy!

BATH TIME | Gettin' Sexy with the Lush Valentine's Day Collection

The eggplant and the cheeky peach are back in this year's Lush Valentine's Day collection with some new and old classics! I almost picked up the entire collection, but I reminded myself that I am trying to cull my beauty collection this year and STILL have not purchased a single thing from Sephora since December so I held back!

BATH | Just a Fraction of the Lush Christmas Collection

It's a shame I didn't make it to the Lush store before I shot these photos because what started out as a fraction of products sent by PR has become a more "well-rounded" collection via "Jayne going to the mall on her lunch break" as of yesterday afternoon! I just couldn't resist and I don't think I am alone when I say that the Lush Christmas Collection is always a tough one to resist whether it's for yourself or for gifts! This year did not disappoint so let's dive right into bath bomb bubbly goodness!

VALENTINE'S | Lush Valentine's Day Collection

It's that time of year again where you can't go out for dinner on Valentine's Day because all the restaurants are packed so if you are an old married couple like myself and KC, I will be making dinner at home and HE will be getting me jewelry LOL! I think after awhile you just want to spend time at home relaxing with people you love. I don't even know how to segue into the bath concoctions Lush has released this year because this year's collection is a little racy! All I can say is Lush, you make a girthy eggplant!

BATH | The Lush Halloween Collection

It's tiiiiiime for Lush Halloweeeeeeen! I got to this year's collection a little late as Inventory at work pushed my schedule for everything way back, but as always there are some old favourites (I'll link them here) and new goodies that have positively bewitched me!

BATH | Lush Mother's Day 2018 Collection

How is it coming up to the middle of May? Once it hits June, it will be the summer and then half a year would have gone by! I STILL have stuff from December that I want to blog about that feels recent...tell me I'm not the only that is still trying to get organized! While I was fumbling my way through filing my taxes last month (filed on April 29th!), I realized that there was something special about May and that was Mother's Day! Lush has again blown it out of the water when it comes to new and sweet-smelling things so let's dive in!

EASTER | Lush Limited Edition Easter Goodies!

Honestly, I love writing about Lush collections because it's just so darn easy to be in such a good mood the ENTIRE time I'm writing. Each product smells and looks so cute that you can't help, but feel happy. I say this with every Lush collection, but really THIS ONE is the cutest! I actually have some crazy favourites this year. Like on par with Scrubee favourite!

BATH & BODY | The Lush Valentine's Day Collection

I said on Twitter that I would focus less on Valentine's Day posts and more on Asian brands with the exception of Lush. I cannot say no to their seasonal collections and I feel like this year there are so many new things that even those who are boycotting Valentine's would have to pick up just for the sake of cuteness!

HALLOWEEN | New Lush Goodies!

I actually tried really hard to get more of the Lush Halloween Collection, but certain things were sold out everytime I went in which just goes to show how popular certain items were! The new Jelly Bombs were sold out and I managed to get the Snow Fairy one for the holidays, but sadly not the Halloween ones. This year, the classics are back (reviews here), but I've also got some new items to share!

BATH & BODY | The New Zoella Beauty Jelly and Gelato Collection!

Zoe Sugg, better known as Zoella, is probably one of the few millennials on YouTube I actually like. Not to bash millennials, but some of the younger girls on YouTube can be a bit high energy for me/fake sounding which is just something I don't identify with. I feel like Zoella is intelligent, entertaining and the British accent definitely helps!

When Zoella came out with her first bath and body collection, I was enamored with the cuteness of it all and the fact that she admitted to buying her own bath fizzies on her video because she loved them so much and wanted them right away that day when she had run out! Whether that story is true or not, I would like to believe it is because her bath products really do smell fantastic in a playful, grown-up type of way. Having used Zoella's new Jelly & Gelato Collection for a couple of weeks now, I am now very tempted to pick up the additional pieces of the collection because I find myself looking forward to actually having a shower just to use these shower gels!

BATH | Easter with Lush!

I hope you all have already gotten a chance to grab a few of these Lush Easter goodies because I didn't get a chance to go to the post office until two days ago and then of course I had to work and could not take pretty photos of product. Lush goodies disappear fast, but I'm still seeing quite a bit of stock left online so you should be good if you can't make it to a store! I don't need to say that this year Lush has added some extra cute things to their Easter line up because they literally do this EVERY year with every collection, but really. THIS year is truly the cutest.

BATH & BODY | New and Old Favourites from the Lush Christmas Collection!

It is seriously taking all of my willpower NOT to order more from the Lush Christmas collection. There are so many new additions that are SO CUTE! I have put myself on a slight no-buy as my place has far too many holiday goodies in it already that will probably take me until June to finish! I may wait until Lush's annual Boxing Day sale to score a few things, but waking up at 6am just REALLY SUCKS so we shall see!

This year Lush has not let us down with the number of new and fun products to try so hopefully I can help you to narrow down what you should be picking up as shopping at Lush can be overwhelming if you don't know where to begin!

Lush | Halloween 2016 Collection aka That "Other" Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I don't know about you guys, but as a grown woman in her 30s I cannot WAIT for Lush's Halloween and Christmas collections to come out. Certain products, like the Sparkly Pumpkin and Snow Fairy Shower Gel are becoming a tradition where it just doesn't feel like the holidays until they hit my bathroom. Since Lush comes out with new products every year, I won't share the ones I have already reviewed - just the ones that are new for this year or items that I (you) have to have!

Lush Limited Edition Father's Day Collection

When it comes to the beauty world, men often get neglected even though I have always thought beauty products were genderless. Thankfully, when it comes to Father's Day Lush has made sure that all the men in your life will get a chance to learn all about indulgence with a mix of skincare and bath products!

BATH & BODY | Get Ready for the Lush 2016 Easter Collection!

After Christmas, the Lush Easter collection is my FAVOURITE. With bright colours, eggs and bunnies, who wouldn't get excited?! As always, there are both old favourites and new releases and though I do not have the complete collection, I (hopefully) chose the cutest ones I enjoyed the most to share with you.

BATH & BODY | Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company Introduction and Review #Take12

Ever since the TV show Anne of Green Gables, I have always wanted to visit the Maritimes. I am pretty sure I only started playing the violin because of Ashley MacIsaac and the Rankin Family and have always been convinced that as a small, Chinese girl, I would RIGHT IN to this part of the world. For now, I will have to settle for just a glimpse into Maritimes with the Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company hailing from Nova Scotia! Inspired by the nature of the East Coast, founder Rebecca Taylor, started to experiment with essential oils distilled from the plants around her creating the first collection of handcrafted soaps. Not only is Pearl & Daisy a source of 100% handcrafted soaps, there is also skincare, delectably scented bath bombs and many other ways to relax and pamper yourself.

HOLIDAY | Lush Christmas Part 2

I know, I know I promised a Part 2 and I'm only doing it now on Boxing Day! As all of us Lushies know, today was the the Lush Christmas BOGO and even though I got up at 7am, I was still too late for many of the gift sets. However, I do have a few Lush favourites that I hoped some of you managed to pick up by the multiples because they are THAT GOOD.

BATH & BODY | Lush "Secret Santa" Gift Box

Back in November, Lush held their holiday media party at the West 4th, Kitsilano location where we got an inside look at how fresh face masks and bath bombs were made. On top of making my own Stardust bath bomb we were also allowed to select a gift to place under the tree. Obviously, I did not wait until Christmas to open my Secret Santa Gift Box* ($18.95 CDN) because you all need to know what's in here!

I chose this gift box mainly because I love the reusable "gift wrap" and the print is so festive and cute! Inside is the Dashing Santa* ($5.95 CDN) bath bomb scented with mandarin and bergamot oil. I just used this last night and his golden shimmery boots make him spin around when you place flat in the tub! It is truly a hoot and a half!

Next up is the Peeping Santa Bubble Bar* ($6.95 CDN) which is scented with strawberry and made with hand-churned shea butter and cocoa butter. Lush bubble bars are always so creamy and always leave my skin soft. My Peeping Santa fell apart in transit and actually has only one eye making him QUITE the peeper.

There is more Lush goodness to come, but have you had a chance to relax with some goodies from Lush this holiday season?
