With Mother's Day coming up, I am always on the prowl for things my mom would enjoy and growing up, she was always a big fan of body lotions, potions and floral smelling things. I remember getting her a rose Lush bath bomb as a kid and I am pretty sure she never used it, but kept it unused like a sack of potpourri. The new Mary Kay Satin Body Collection is definitely one that made me think of my mom because not only does it quench your thirst for floral, but it perks up the senses too!

This season's scent is White Tea and Citrus and when I first saw it on paper, I was like "meh" doesn't sound too interesting, but then when I smelled it, I was like "Oh, yes". Starting off with Whipped Shea Cream* ($26.00 CDN), this perfectly coiffed moisturizer is similar in texture to a body butter and is actually so thick that the circles are still visible despite being used multiple times! This stuff I use on my legs because they are always so deathly dry and my skin just soaks it all up!
The Revitalizing Shea Scrub* ($22.00 CDN) is pretty awesome and since I love body scrubs, I know what I am looking for in one and this one uses hydrated silica which has the density I like, combined with a creaminess that gives a bit of moisture too. This scrub is a total keeper for me!
The Indulgent Shea Wash* ($22.00 CDN) is delightfully lathery and smells even more intense because of the heat from the shower. Body washes are fairly standard when it comes to how they work and this one being on the more creamy side makes for a fun one to use on the loofah.
The Silkening Shea Lotion* ($22.00 CDN) is a 24 hour hydrating moisturizer that is quick-absorbing and has a non-greasy finish because there is some dimethicone in the formulation. While I don't use dimethicone-based moisturizers at night, it does do a great job of sealing in moisture and the silky smooth finish on my skin is one that keeps me wanting to keep using it especially when I need to get my pantyhose on in a hurry! Yes, I work a job where pantyhose is NECESSARY.
