NAILS | Hoppy Easter Monday! #ManiMonday

Those of you who had today off, I am incredibly jealous! I so rarely get holidays off because of my job, but I lucked out the last three days. I won't lie that it was REALLY agonizing getting up and at 'em and sure enough within the first hour of work, I was getting yelled at by a 45 year old woman who sounded more like she was 5 when it came to her reasoning skills. Needless to say, my Monday did not get off to the greatest start, but at least my nails made a few kids smile. My nails and probably finishing a newspaper anagram puzzle were probably the highlight of my work day so I have been looking forward to coming home and blogging.

I have really been feeling the CND Vinylux Chic Shock collection with its vibrant pastels (that actually look good on me!) so what a perfect time to bring them out again for this Easter Monday Mani!

Get the Look!

1. Paint your index and pinky nails with two coats of white polish. I am using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in White*.
2. Paint your middle nail yellow using 2-3 coats of CND Vinylux in Jellied*.
3. Paint your ring nail purple using 2-3 coats of CND Vinylux in Gummi*.
4. Using the white polish sketch out the rough shape of a bunny head by doing an elongated half moon. Use a small nail art brush to draw the ears in white polish or acrylic paint.
5. While your white polish is still fresh, head on over your yellow nail and sketch out an egg shell using the flat sides of the polish brush. We can always clean up the edges with the black acrylic paint.
6. Use a dotting tool and black and white polish to dot on the eyes.
7. On the middle finger, use an orange polish (OPI Infinite Shine in No Tan Lines*) to create a little chick nose.
8. Take CND Vinylux in Candied* and dot on bunny's nose and fill in his ears.
9. Use a dotting tool to dot on Candied and Gummi onto the white nails in linear fashion. You can also be completely random with the dots.
10. Seal it all in with top coat!

I hope you all had a great day whether you had it off or spent it at work like me! I am collaborating with Renee from See the World in Pink and Trysh from Prairie Beauty Love so check out their cute Easter manicures too!
