For this month's #AnywhereButTheFace masking challenge, I initially looked to Nannette de Gaspe because not only did they pioneer the dry sheet mask technology, but they have masks for EVERY part of the body! While this is certainly a luxury brand, I have to say that everything about their masks fascinates me from the technology down to the application and in the world of skincare this is difficult to do! I was strolling through Holt Renfrew one day and I noticed that there were some new masks that had been released in addition to the Youth Revealed line knows as Vitality Revealed which rolled in a slightly higher price point and from what I can see from the ingredient list, have additional peptides delivered over a 5 day "mesotherapy ritual". There are currently three masks in this collection: Face, Neck and what I will showcase the Decollete!

Nannette de Gaspe has always been quite romantic about their skincare and I'm actually kind of okay with it because I just love the Canadian technology. Is it a bit of an indulgence, yes, but that's why you have me, the crazy sheet mask person, who will spend her money for you and let you know whether you should join the partaaay!
The Vitality Revealed series employs a proprietary molecule called the "BMV molecule" in a new Bio-Stimulant Techstile technology, which serves to encapsulate the actives in the essence and deliver them deeper into the skin when the masque is warmed to body temperature. The BMV molecule also has repairative properties, but whether I could notice the latter or deeper penetration is something I can't really confirm, but this mask does promise to improve radiance, plump and firm up the skin.

This was probably the only mask that I had to actively see a photo of it on because I had no idea what to do with the pieces! It came with a separate ribbon in an envelope and holes and velcro in places that had me confused and only after looking at a photo on the NDG website did I realize that all of these attachments made MUCH more sense WITH a bra!
This is the side with a fragrance-free solid printed shea butter base (containing the good stuff ) that melts when warmed to body temperature. It almost looks like a fancy bib! The idea is that for 5 days straight, you wear this mask for 15-20 minutes and pack it away gently in the resealable pouch each time.
Final verdict: The million dollar question for a $120 mask - did it work? The skin in my decollete area is still firm and smooth so in terms of plumping and firming, this didn't really apply, but an improvement in hydration and radiance was definitely noticeable. This is essentially like taking a really nice body oil and then sealing it all in, but what kind of bummed me out was that by the next day, the effects had kind of worn off already. Perhaps with a more "mature" chest, the results would be a bit more dramatic, but for me it was just a fun experience that I'm glad I could share with you all as I will be sticking to my regular Tata Harper Revitalizing Body Oil for that radiant decollete!
