NAILS | Red, White and Blue #CBBxManiMonday

I started out my Saturday morning with a very painful sore throat that lasted all the way through Sunday and all I was doing was praying to God that it wasn't strep throat because not only is it contagious, but the last time I had it, I was coughing for months and had a fever for over a week. Thankfully, this has only evolved into being a small cold with my throat feeling much better and just the occasional sneezing attack here and there. I still wasn't feeling 100% last night so combined with that horrific Game of Thrones episode, I decided to take it easy on myself and haul out my trusty water flower decals!

As these decals are clear, it was also the perfect opportunity to try out my newest white polish to see if it was really any better because it looked like a bottle of White Out. The answer is not really as the brush wasn't the easiest to work with and I didn't find the actual formula any better than the OPI ones I have been using over the years. I will just enjoy this bottle for the collector's item it is. 

After two coats Sephora x Moschino polish, I cut to size some of these Born Pretty flower decals and plunked them on top of the polish once it had sort of semi-dried. I used the new CND Vinylux Gel-Like Effect* as my top coat because for water decals you need a nice plump top coat that doesn't melt the decal and this worked perfectly!
