This is the first ManiMonday I have actually full missed in two years, but where I normally would have felt a bit of shame, I just feel relieved to have taken the weekend off from beauty as I had a very busy weekend with work where I think it would have made more sense just to sleep at my desk as most of my time in the last 2 days was spent there instead of in the coziness of my apartment. Even tonight as I painted my nails pink, I was originally going to just paint them two coats and leave a design for later, but I got into the zone and THIS emerged.

It is our last week of pink and red manicures before we embark on our theme of blue and green (my FAVE) and I wanted to use my new favourite polish brand, Bio Sculpture, one more time this month featuring the shades: Pink Marshmallow*, Perfect Pink* and Cherry Ripe*. I started off by painting my nails two coats of Perfect Pink, which is really just gorgeous on its own, and then from there I just painted on random swipes of the other two shades. For the black lines and dots, I used acrylic paint. Then came some gel-like top coat and I was reborn! My old nails were starting to look scraggly so it does indeed feel good to have fresh claws again!
