NAILS | Cadillacquer Redrum Thermal Polish with Scary Spiders #CBBxManiMonday

I promised I was going to take it easy yesterday and I think I achieved that! I woke up a little late (9:45am) after having gone to bed at around 1am the night before and took the morning reallllly slow. My TMJ has been acting up so I woke up with a bit of headache and the left side of my jaw felt a bit swollen so part of the reason for my just taking it easy for the day was just because I was feeling grumpy from the discomfort. I ended up watching Beetlejuice for the first time while I had lunch (remember when movies were only 1.5 hours long?) and quite enjoyed it which then led to a short walk in around the neighbourhood with my husband just to get the legs moving. It was raining, but at this time in Vancouver it's sort of a given that the weather will be like this.

I had mentioned last week that I spoiled myself and picked up a few Cadillacquer Halloween polishes from Nailstuff.ca and I think they are pretty much what I will be wearing for the remainder of the month because they are all just THAT AWESOME. Today's polish is actually from last year's Halloween collection, but how perfect is the shade "Redrum"?!

This jelly polish goes from terracotta red (cold) to bright yellow (warm) and is peppered with almost neon orange matte hex glitter in varying sizes. This polish blows my mind when it comes to colour shift and I am consistently amazed by Cadillacquer's formulas and extremes when it comes to the colour shifts. Back in the day, it used to be from blue to a lighter blue, but now it's totally next level!

I really enjoyed doing the hidden nail art for last week's post, but could not replicate it this week since I didn't have any polishes that matched either the terracotta or yellow exactly. I still wanted to put something Halloween-themed on my nails and after a few mistakes settled on these somewhat evil spiders. Not quite what I wanted to do, but it kind of works still! I will have something more detailed for next week, don't you worry!
