SHEET MASK | Mediheal Airpacking Mint Wrap Foil Mask

Mediheal Airpacking Mint Wrap Foil Mask
Purchased by me

I have, what I am anticipating to be a busy week coming up as there will be a few vacations and generally that means that we are spread out a bit more thinly. Hopefully there won't be too much drama and the week will go by seamlessly and MAYBE will even be a little fun! Up for today's #SheetMaskSunday post is none other than one of the sheet mask greats - Mediheal! They have a seemingly endless supply of sheet masks that I can never keep up with and all of them have performed well and have been fun at the same time!

What makes this mask special? It's green foil! This is a shade of mask I have NEVER tried before and though I saw that it was green on the package, I thought that maybe it was the colour of mud? You may also be wondering why this mask has the phrase "airpacking" in it and through some research, it refers to the triple layer air barrier mask sheet that "self-warms" (all foil masks do this) and prevents moisture from escaping and supposedly allows for better absorption of ingredients.

Everything was in Korean so I didn't know what I was getting into exactly, but I trusted in Mediheal that all would be OK! The second very interesting thing about this mask was the "mint" aspect as there is actual peppermint leaf extract in the essence as well as tea tree, rosemary, lavender, willow bark, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid!

Mask Summary:

Price: I think I paid around $5-$6 CDN at the little Korean shop I got it at in Montreal

What it does: Soothes and relaxes the skin as well as acts like an aromatherapy treatment

Scent: Actually kind of pepperminty with a mix of other herbal scents like tea tree and lavender. Lovely!

Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous

Duration: 30 minutes

Thickness: Thin foil that was able to wrap around my face. Fairly characteristic of most Asian foil masks I have tried.

Mask Fit: Very nice due to the mask coming in two pieces!

Tackiness: Medium

Hydration: Very high

Other notes: Foil masks typically can make you feel very hot since the foil prevents any moisture from leaving so combined with the mintiness of this mask, you will VERY cool when you remove it!

Final verdict: Even though this was a little tacky, I really liked the scent, the look and the quality of the ingredients. I'm not sure this is even still available which is a bit sad, but it was fun, quality mask that was relatively affordable. Mediheal comes through once more and as always I look forward to sharing more of the brand with you!
