One press sample
I had originally intended on spending my Sunday doing some blogging, but I ended up going through my craft bins and doing some organizing which took about 5 hours! It was incredibly tiring and then I always get leg cramps because there is a lot squatting, kneeling and just being on the floor sorting through things. I still have a few things to sort through, but bit by bit I will hopefully be able to reduce just the amount of STUFF I have in my house!
Luckily, I had done my nails prior to this clean out so they were actually bare while I did it and had chosen a wintery glittery design that I quite enjoyed using one of the new BKIND polishes I picked up during their Black Friday sale. I very rarely buy nail polishes, but I wanted to support some Canadian companies during Black Friday and BKIND from Montreal makes a REALLY nice vegan polish!
I started off with two coats of "On the Rocks"* which is a deep, midnight blue followed by sponging on the shade "Romano Fafard" which seems like a really weird name for a polish, BUT it is apparently the name of a space ship from a beloved Quebecois sci-fi comedy from the 90s called Dans une Galaxie près de chez vous. This glitter was MEGA sparkly and was a chunkier silver glitter vs. the finer holographic glitter I am more used to wearing.
I will definitely be using this glitter again because it just packs such a punch! I picked up a holographic one as well, so we might see that soon too!
